Crown or bust for them.Where did teams like SDSU, Grand Canyon, and Boise State end up?
Boise rejected the NIT last year betting on a crown invite and they got it.

To be honest, I did not even know the Crown tournament existed. It sounds like the NIT is no longer considered the de facto second best tournament that it once was. That being said, there are still some pretty good teams in this years NIT tournament. A couple wins might help this team. A loss in the first round certainly won't. Going to be a tough battle against Wichita State.Crown or bust for them.

The teams will be announced today at 5:30 eastern time. It appears there will be 8 teams with 2 from the B12, B10 and BEast with 2 wild cards. It makes you wonder why the ACC and SEC is not included.I am not sure the Crown is even having the same field like they did last year. They may only host 4 teams
I think we all kind of know the answer. The teams will be announced today at 5:30 eastern time. It appears there will be 8 teams with 2 from the B12, B10 and BEast with 2 wild cards. It makes you wonder why the ACC and SEC is not included.
The main reason given for the reduction from 16 to 8 is the concern teams are unlikely to field a solid roster with the transfer portal even though it doesn’t open until 4-7 and the Crown concludes 4-5.
8 actually.I am not sure the Crown is even having the same field like they did last year. They may only host 4 teams
