The good thing about an ESPN3 game is that you can watch it from the start, because it doesn't follow some other game that runs way over (like the last game on ROOT)

Will the Pokes be able to get stops on the defensive end against a quality Wolf Pack squad IF the three-ball isn't falling? Sixty-seven percent shooting from three in the first half versus USU saved UW's bacon. Nevada has been the best at defending the arc so far in MWC play.

The short answer: No. The long answer: No, No. BUT, if the 3's aren't falling, why leave the slow defenders (Swede, Liebs, Jmac) in? You go with your inside threats, knowing at least they can handle defense as well as the slow 3.

:thumb: Yes, let us hope for another good shooting night because Nevada obviously learned a valuable lesson as to why it's not a good idea to dig themselves 25 point holes before storming back. We should expect a much more focused effort from them early on tomorrow. Pokes need to play some solid team defense as Marshall and Caroline have been filling it up in conference play.

With Nevadas depth will Wyoming attack all night and try to get them in foul trouble? We could try and run them out of the gym.

I still remember fondly the "Deonte's a bitch!" chant by the student section a few years ago after Deonte Burton called our arena ugly.

Later when DC was was in the D league I went to see him when they came to Boise and Deonte was his teammate actually. We talked a little about MW hoops and then he jokingly asked "so were you one of the guys calling me a bitch?" haha good times!
