NCAA D-I Stats

I realize it's still early in the season, but look at these stats!

Field Goal Percentage - UW is 6th in the nation
Scoring Defense - UW is 5th in the nation (Behind Louisville, Kentucky, Wisconsin, and Virginia)
Assists Per Game - UW is 9th in the nation

And, Derek Cooke Jr. WAS 1st in the nation in individual FG%. He must have fell under 5 FG attempts per game, therefore disqualifying him from the NCAA statistic leaders.

Things are looking good in Laramie! I would be surprised to see either NMSU or SMU beat us this year, Those will be tough games, but we really do look THAT good this season! GO POKES

He's three FGA behind the pace.

The quality depth of this team will probably hurt individual stats this season. I have been a BB fan for a long, long time, and I have never seen this much talented depth on any team.

I agree that it will hurt individual stats. You mean any Wyoming team correct? If so then I could possibly agree with you but if you mean any college team ever then I in no way could agree with you. I have seen lots of teams with just as much depth and better depth than this Wyoming team over the years in college hoops. If you mean any team then you are basically saying we are good enough to not only win this years national championship but beat a lot of the other national championship teams from the past. While that would be awesome if it was the case I don't think it is even close to true. No disrespect though WYCowboy :D

Yeah, that was a pretty foolish statement for me to make, but just take a good look at this team from starters to the last person on the bench. Aside from some inexperience of our freshmen at the D1 MWC college level, there is not a weak link anywhere. The way our coaching staff is working these inexperienced players into the line-up, they won't be inexperienced for long.

Yeah I totally understand what you are saying and I agree with you. I think with as many minutes as the bench players are getting to play by the time late January and February come around the bench will be very very good.
