That's a weird comment considering Cowherd is an Eastern Washington alum.

Between DC getting signed by a state-side NBA developmental team and Larry carving out a niche with the CSU Rams of the NBA, its good to be a fan of the Pokes. It definitely instills that we have a great coach and one who will maximize the potential in every single recruit that comes here.

Exactly. Watching both DC and Larry Nance Jr. during their three and four years in the program proves to me that Larry Shyatt can flat out coach.
Looking at Nance during his Freshman year (good hops, but very skinny with no post game) and DC in his Sophomore year (great bounce, no other discernible basketball skills) shows what can be done with a player with that ever-elusive upside by a coach that knows what they are doing.
It pisses me off that we have endured 20 years of Benny Dees, Joby Wright, and Heath Schroyer squandering what little talent they had available with no improvement year to year. I'll give McClain a pass as he did provide a few glimmers of hope during his tenure.
For me, player development, and wringing every last bit of production from potential, is what college sports is all about. Oh yeah, and rooting for Cinderella during March Madness!

Did she leave? Otherwise, why transfer? lolMcPeachy said:NowherePoke said:AJ Davis- Big guard (6'6" 210) with high level athleticism. Would average 16 ppg for James Madison after leaving UW. What I liked, well, admired, most about AJ...was that he received regular occurring blowjob's from one of the female athletic administrators during his tenure at Wyoming.

You have worked at UW for a while I see.![]()
Short answer: No. The Lakers have basically zero offensive identity and Randle is better at creating his own shot. While Larry is a better defender, their team defense is horrible so it doesn't matter what one guy does on D when the other 4 aren't moving around like they should. Larry is of course more athletic so he can put himself in positions to get more rebounds, steals, etc. Since they typically play with different units it's hard to judge though, I'm not a big enough Lakers fan to watch their practices lol.LanderPoke said:I haven't been able to watch any of his games. Is Larry better than Julius Randle?
