Nance update

I had to laugh this morning at how much one of the Lakers boards had changed tone from page 1 of the Larry Nance Jr thread ("Who?") to page 45 ("Oozes confidence. If he develops a 3 could be the ideal 6th man")

I know. Maybe like 3 of them were actually excited about him (and recognized his name) while the others flat out dismissed him or were hung up on a 3 year old twitter post. Now? They're acting like they have amnesia about all of that. But to those few that saw what he could do, now they know why we became such big fans of his from the day he came on.
 
I have been visiting that Lakers message board quite a bit following Nance and I know he didn't play in the last pre-season game and someone said it was because he was in the doghouse. Not sure what he meant but he never gave any specifics so I wonder if that is true or not.

I thought he wasn't playing because his roster spot was safe and it was basically a tryout for Metta World-Peace and the other guy fighting for that final spot.

Could be wrong though, I have barely paid attention to the Lakers.

I thought the same thing and then a couple of people asked why he didn't play and some guy said he was in the doghouse but he may have just been joking although he seemed serious but I haven't seen anything to make me think he is in the doghouse but who knows.

Honest question; has Nance EVER been in the doghouse? I don't remember anything like that when he was here, so I have to ask.

Of course it says that the Lakers are gonna suck this year but it does have a Larry Nance watch in effect :thumb:
Really cool to see this with our former players. I finally have to pay more attention to the NBA again. Hope Adams is next!!!
 
Hope he's good to go against Orlando on Nov 11th. I've got tickets to sit near midcourt, 5 rows up from the floor. Gonna wear a Wyo shirt and try to catch his eye before or after the game. Don't know if it's possible or not. I tried to private message him on twitter, but he's a little less responsive on there now that he's in the nba.

I get why he's not on there as much, given his issue with the tweet from the past. I don't blame him. Just was hoping he'd see it and respond, especially since we talked on there briefly while he was at UW. Oh well.

Yeah, a complete stranger rooting through your twitter account to dig up something from years ago that you forgot about?

Can't say I blame him for not being on it as much.
