Mr. Adams has left the building

Josh and Marvell Harris were invited to the Portsmouth invitational today. Does that exclude them from the combine? Either way, glad those two got invites.

Is there an NBA combined?

I looked it up, players can decline to attend, but there is no guarantee they will get combine invite. I guess that's what agents are for. The Portsmouth invite is for seniors only. Kaminski was invited last year and didn't go. Jimmy Butler went to Portsmouth his senior year. Portsmouth invite is this upcoming weekend. I haven't noticed josh's Twitter saying he's left Cali though. Guess we will find out later this week

I feel like it would be foolish for Josh to pass this up. Unless it could somehow hurt his draft stock. He is not a for-sure high pick, so the worst it could do is take him from a maybe-2nd rounder to a free agent. Either way, he would still have to make the team. This could only help him IMO.

No, it does not. But usually the PIT is for the second level of prospects. I believe only one player from last year's tournament was drafted.

Each year the Portsmouth Invitational Tournament collects the best 64 seniors that the NCAA has to offer for an ad-hoc tournament, allowing the best of the best to showcase their talents in front of personnel from every NBA team.

In theory, at least.

Over the years, the top college seniors have increasingly declined invitations to attend Portsmouth, now in its 63rd year. None of our top-10 ranked seniors made an appearance and only 5 of our top-25 ranked seniors were in Virginia. Still, the Portsmouth Invitational Tournament provides a good collection of talent, and one of the few settings to see prospects play competitive basketball between now and June's draft. History says that many of the players here will go onto play in the NBA in some capacity, possibly by way of the D-League or as undrafted free agents.

Josh was not invited to the combine. Chances of getting drafted do not look good.

what the hell, oh well sign as a free agent, and take the league by storm, or tear up the D League 1st and come in somewhere, cmon on Josh pulling for you man

No idea why Zimmerman was invited. He sucked. Looked like a uncoordinated 10 year old in a 25 year old body.
"Potential" :lol:
I'm so glad we have Naughton. Now that is a kid with potential and has a great head on his shoulders. Now if we can find what pisses Jb off we will be in good shape. As far as josh is concerned its a damn crime. These pro scouts see he is undersized and pretty much flip the page. Or some just consider him a great athlete and not a ball player. Someone's going to get a steal once they dig a little deeper. The kid has attributes that some of these first rounders could only dream of. Not only is he one of the best athletes I have seen but he is also one of the passionate players I have seen as well. Josh will land on his feet he has had to prove people wrong from day one and I just never have understood how people are so blind towards him.
