He hasn't been here 4 years!!! Jesus H. He hasn't had a class graduate yet.... Don't kid yourself, Brian Hill will be playing on Sundays if he wants to...cali2wyo said:The difference is, not a single Bohl recruit at Wyoming has gone to the pros, and not a single team of Bohl recruits has won the MW conference championship. Sure, Bohl was able to be successful and accomplish those things in Fargo. That shouldn't be ignored, but it also shouldn't be a guarantee that things will work here. I think it's fair to question Bohl until it is proven in Laramie, but at the same time I can see how others are expecting great things in the near future given his history.wellpoke said:BeaverPoke said:When will we realize Shyatt knows just a little bit more about developing basketball players than us?
We give him the credit AFTER it's done, but call him out and question him BEFORE it's done.
Kind of like you're constantly doing with Bohl?
Pot, meet kettle.
By the way, I agree with you. But I also think Bohl should be given time to implement and develop his system, as Shyatt has been. Seems to be working out for the basketball program.
Go Pokes!!
And frankly thats not true. Wentz is the #1 QB coming into the combine.... I'd bet there are more players in the NFL right now from NDSU than there is from UW....
EDIT: I was wrong. According to ESPN, NDSU has 7 current alum in the NFL while Wyoming also has 7. I think Bohl knows what he's doing. Truthfully Bohl has 7 (all who played for Bohl 3 or 4 seasons, 6 were his recruits) while Koenning has 1, Glenn has 1 and CDC has 5 (if my thought process is correct)...
