Coffman not only leads the conference in yards, but in QB Rating too. Hill is now almost 100 yards ahead of the next leading rusher in the conference (and 15 yards away from hitting 1000). And Gentry, while in 2nd, is only 4 yards behind number 1, and over 130 yards ahead of 3rd place (hopefully his shoulder injury isn't bad).

In reality, we've played the worst defenses on our schedule. I too think the performance of some of the team is encouraging, but we haven't really played very good defenses.

Thankfully, this is such a down year in the MWC, even the good Ds aren't as formidable as previous years. I expect us to slow down some but hopefully not hit a screeching halt.
