Klieman stays with NDSU.

The strength and conditioning coach didn't recruit the players. He also didn't decide to play a couple of 250-260 pound guys at 3-4 defensive end or a 290 pounder at nose tackle. I blame the defensive problems on a shitty coach who let his finesse style rub off on his players.

Yet, the S&C coach can (and should be) held somewhat accountable for injuries as well.

I agree, but what does that have to do with what I said?

It actually doesn't have anything to do with what you said. Long day. :?

Klieman made a great decision staying as head coach, make an extra $100k and be the king of Fargo.

So you say...the jury will be out for a while on whether that "decision" is a great one! Not sure about the money thing either, but I don't care. I think it is more about the opportunity for him to be a HC...although at a lower level, it is still being a HC. Which can certainly lead to better things. Cough - Bohl - Cough.

Yeah, doesn't everyone dream of being the "king of Fargo"...! I wonder what Coach Klieman would say if you told him or the AD that he stayed so he could be the "king of Fargo"? I would lay a bet that he would look at you like you have 3 heads...and the AD as well!

Greener to remain S&C coach here as Kramer is staying at NDSU.

Woe is us....we are doomed because Kramer isn't the S&C coach at Wyoming! If the S&C coach was so important they would pay him the million dollars instead of the HC.

I am not worried about Wyoming, I would have been more worried if I were NDSU if Kramer left because evidently if you listen to the Bison fans, Kramer is responsible for ALL of their success!

Isn't that how it always works?
Hell there are still tons of Wyo fans on here that say McClain doesn't deserve credit for the MWC titles because they were Shyatts recruits.

They only say that because Shyatt is our coach again.
People always act like the previous coach wasn't the "main" guy and now that he is out of the way, the new guy can finally take the program to some level of success.

I disagree that people who say that about McClain "only" say that because Coach Shyatt is back. That was an open discussion at the time. In fairness, however, both Uche and Marcus Bailey arrived later in the McClain tenure.

I'm surprised Kramer and Klieman stayed to be honest

I am not surprised. It was the same opportunity to take a shot at being a head coach that drew Dave Christiansen to Wyoming.

If Bohl doesn't get the results he's looking for, he'll make a change. Plus who says Greener automatically keeps his job even without Kramer?

Sounds like Klieman and Kramer are the only two to stay in Fargo:

The Bison have a talented group of 14 commitments.

“Wyoming has three,” Bohl said. “Once we get out there, things will be hectic. Six on our staff of nine are going with me. I’m very happy that Brent Vigen, our offensive coordinator and an exceptional recruiter, will be with us. He’s probably had more to do with our success at NDSU then anyone.”

Slight correction, it looks like one other coach is staying in Fargo....9-6 = 3. I would imagine that would be Conor Riley the RB coach for NDSU. Kaligis is the RB coach at Wyoming and he is staying, and Riley was in his first year at NDSU, so I am assuming that Riley is the third out of 9 that isn't coming to Laramie. Maybe Riley hasn't been offered a job on the new staff at NDSU, but it appears that he isn't one of the 6 coming to Laramie.

So if this is the case, which seems very likely, then Coach Bohl will only have one assistant's position at Wyoming to fill and that appears to be the Defensive Coordinator position. Klieman was also the DB coach as well as the DC at NDSU. Who will be the new DC at Wyoming?

"Six are coming with me." Doesn't that make seven? Or isn't he counting himself as one of the nine?

Coach Bohl isn't including himself in the totals since he is the HC and not an assistant. There 8 assistant coaches and the S&C guy, which makes 9 assistants. In football they look at the S&C guy as just another assistant. We know that the DC is staying on as the HC and Kramer is staying on as the S&C, so that leaves just one other guy as not coming to Wyoming. Logic tells me that Riley who is the RB coach at NDSU has the same position as Kaligis has at Wyoming, and when I read his Bio, Riley was in his first year at NDSU so it only makes sense that Riley isn't coming to Laramie, and that there is only one open assistant position at Wyoming and that is the DC. I haven't heard anything definite, but this is how I deduced it. Riley's name has never been mentioned as an assistant that Bohl offered, all of the other assistants names have come up, not his.
