Kalagis is staying

Josh Tappscott just tweeted that Kalagis is staying. Mike Vorel is trying to confirm. Good move IMHO. Everything I've read about the guy is he is a hard worker, a class act, deeply cares for his players.

Probably the best one to keep. From what I've seen, most players view him as a second father of sorts. I like it.

How about Jason Gesser?

I would like this too.... I think he is a good QB coach who is repected and along with coach kalagis will recruit the NW which is a place we need to keep recruiting IMO

Why is everyone so big on Kaglis?
Isn't he our O-Line coach? Hasn't our O-Line been AWFUL?

Im pretty sure hes the RB coach. Hes done a great job to better our running game this year.

He was the OL coach a few years ago. He's currently the RB coach. There was a big article in the boomerang about how he would get to work at 3am to beat all the players in at 5am. This was a while back. One of the few things that stuck out at me was when he was the OL coach he challenge the entire O-line to lift XYZ pounds before he could. He ended up beating them in the competition.

I did a little bit more research on him, and have to say I am impressed.
I just assumed he was the O-Line coach the whole time, and I am sitting here like "WTF are these guys thinking?"
But, now, I see it.
He is Cowboy Tough.
I like it.

Not only is Coach K a great coach, he is even a more incredible man. He is the model of who you would want to mentor your son...trust me on that one. He is motivated and his relationships with the current members of the team is out of this world. He will do a great job where ever they assign him.

I was kind of hoping we would save Derek Sage, the WR coach, hes really got our guys moving crisp, catching the ball and finding the open area down field.

Coach Sage is a good dude no question there. However with what he is bringing to Laramie I think Coach B will have his own position coaches. I can see Kaligas as a director of football operations kind of a guy. Sage will land a good gig coaching WR somewhere at a fairly high level I am sure. He is a perfect fit for a spread style offense.
