I wouldn't be surprised if half the stadium was grizzly fans.

Well, this is their Super Bowl, so you never know.

I consider @ Wyo a "big game" but not our Super Bowl...
Our Super Bowl would be the National Title

However I do consider Wyo a "Big Game"
Here's others on our brutal schedule that carry as much or more weight:

@ #1 Eastern Washington who beat Oregon State last year
@ #2 NDSU who has 3 consecutive titles and beat Kansas State last year
+3 other playoff teams

Gonna be a brutal schedule for Montana this year.

I'm excited to watch my team play @ Wyo but you guys are just one more tough team I feel mine can compete with on the way to our next Super Bowl.

You got nothin' on a "brutal schedule". We face Oregon (#4 ranked team) and two weeks later we go up against Michigan State (#8). That's FBS teams.

Even though it's FCS, this game could make or break attendance for the rest of the year. A nice clean game with discipline and solid effort will get people coming for more. A loss to Montana could completely botch future ticket sales.

If we sell out this game, and have a nice solid win against Montana, one where the fans that were there were extremely happy to see Wyo dominate both sides of the ball, then have another solid attendance and win against AFA, I will be convinced that Bohl and the Wyoming athletic department do know how to sell a product.

DC tried to bring in this fancy, fake "tradition". The Cowboy Walk. Come on now. That is awesome at Mizzou, but not in Laramie where only 100 people show up.

Bohl is not trying to create a new tradition with looks. He is trying to build tradition from the ground up, and is doing it based off of what makes the state of Wyoming great.

What gets Wyo attendance to be better under Bohl than ever before is a great blowout win against Montana in front of a sold out crowd. Another blowout win against AFA in front of at least 28K. Putting up a hell of a fight in Oregon. Winning all home games.
Winning a bowl game this season.

Do it all again next year. And again.

It's all up to the students, If we don't have a packed house it's because students forgot to show up.

Students show up the first couple weeks. That's when they all get hammered and pretend they care about Pokes football.

Ya I wouldn't worry about student attendance. The students will be there for the opener. Halfway through the year is when student attendance starts declining.

Montana can play with the big boys. This will be a fun game to watch. We really need to play our geographic neighbors more. It wouldn't hurt if they would step up to FBS.

The same kind of people that drive many hours to Laramie to see a game are the same kind of people that drive to Missoula and Bozeman to see a game. We live in rural areas. We respect our wide open spaces. We love our football teams.

I'm not sure how this game is going to turn out. We should win pretty easily. Montana is no pushover though and we have a decent chance of being embarassed.

Even Eddie Yarbrough mentioned something about considering this a rivalry game to start the year.

2873 left... still curious if this factors any amount of students or what... I am curious what the student turnout will be since school won't be in session yet

Tried saying this... The student section will be fine.
Kids will be back in Laramie.
Parties will be a roarin' and the student section will be loaded.

Has nothing to do with students at all. This is the counter for open seat tickets.

Exactly. Saw this on the Wyo website in the scrimmage recap:

As of the conclusion of Saturday's scrimmage only 3,482 tickets remained available for sale to the general public for the Montana game.

With all that being said, I wonder what the student turn out will be since school won't be in session yet
Student section will be full, freshman will be moving in before the game starts. Most students will be in Laramie the student section will be full.

Lol... YankPoke I think at this point he is probably just trolling. I mean, it has been answered already and he continues to post the same question.

Hahahaha I wasn't trolling. It was a real question. I got an answer about players tickets and then the student part. I was just curious what you thought if students would be there since school isn't starting. But whatever you think Beaver
