Just my opinion of course.

- Young from his film has great fundamentals, good arm strength, and it looks like he's actually reading defenses...what a concept! That would account for his high td to int ratio, not the safe game manager throws one might think. I'll take 25 or 30 passing td's and single digit int's any day and hand the ball off to the running backs. If he benefits from the outstanding strength and conditioning program and get's in a rhythm with his receivers as the winter goes along, it'll be a one man race at the end of spring ball.

Just my opinion of course.

I tend to agree with this part. I've yet to see any of them play except Kirk and Tommy. Still, I wouldn't bet against a heady qb, that excels at preperation, has good accuracy, and is spotted a six month head start on the competition. We'll see if Smith or Fort can catch up this summer, but Young has an advantage: no doubt.

lol keep sleeping on young. already putting in work behind doors worked with nico this weekend. alot of you are messing a huge part of this. WYO is now "Pro Style" young knows this system already. basic same calls with some additions. he'll be way ahead by summer. Smith had 14 tds? Young had 30 his senior year.. in CALIFORNIA. come on. he may be behind psychically but youre not gonna see your qb run for 500+ yards anymore this is legit drop back stuff. Smith is not a pro style guy. it comes down to Kolby or Young. just keep sleeping tho.

I know he has been putting in work "behind doors", that is where I watched him. He is not athletic, and slow. I hope I am wrong because a lot of people have pinned some pretty high expectations on this kid. I am not impressed with his arm strength at all......

I guess he ain't a physical specimen by any means, but I know there's only been one throwing session last Wednesday and Thornton dropped out while Young and Kirkagaard kept going. And by what I've been told, Young looks far superior in overall skill including arm strength.

Are you a coach or player, or do you just hang around the college in the mornings for kicks?

The Offense of Bohl opens the door for a lot of the qbs that we have to be a little more successful. Looking forward to spring, but Fall will be a battle at Qb.

That was true about Cal Poly. Lol!!! I won't argue with you there. Although it was two years ago. We just going to have to see how spring ball goes between Tommy boy, Broadway Young and El Capitan Kirk.

one thing I do remember about Capt. Kirk was during the final minutes of the Nevada game we have the lead, 3rd and 1 get the first down we win the game. Instead he turns the wrong way to hand Tedder the Ball. I nearly kicked a hole in my TV screen. DC didn't have the balls to go for it and end the game right then and there. Instead he punts and our Defense gives up the TD. :tickedoff: :tickedoff:
