if and when ncaa football splits into three or four division wouldn't you rather have my proposal where the second level annoints two schools to partake in the national level one tournament?
sounds like someone associated with the big 12 said that when its all said and done not only will the WAC not have football and be only olympic sports if that, but it sounds like the big east might do the same thing?
if that does happen i'm wondering if the mwc gets back sdsu and boise if the big boys would consider the mwc as the sixth big six conference if the big east and wac die off as fb conferences?

Yeah, I can kinda see the direction that this is headed. It's bad because the schools (teams)/conferences that have been down for a few years are now going to be held down due to this wedge that is being driven between the two halves. NCAA football may be going into the dark ages.
