Okay.. again, I don't follow basketball closely, but if bigs are such a problem for Wyoming, how did the coaching staff let this guy slip away?

Wyoming boy, tall, starting for a team who has made a few trips to the NCAAs the last few years..

A 7-foot, 220 lb kid who, in Wyoming, averaged just 9 points and 8 rebounds? How does that happen?

I think all 7-footers are worth looking into for sure, especially home grown ones...but those stats, or lack thereof, are alarming.
220 is about 50 pounds light for a 7-footer, too. Kid needs to hit the weight room.

He gets pushed around from time to time by guys like Weber's Tresnak, but he plays pretty decent defense.

Big SKy teams don't match up well to the top of the MWC where we want to compete/ This year the SKy is horrific basketball

Where did the Haldorson rumor come from? I think we just need to have a little more patience with him. He just needs a little more strength on his frame and he might end up a starter. He definitely needs to take a redshirt next year, but don't count him out.
