At the moment we have no more available scholarships for the 2017 class. We'll lose McManamen and Marshall, and we'll sign Maldonado and now Thompson.LanderPoke said:What is the scholarship situation now? Someone give me the skinny

Well so much for our what ifs. If our recruiting class stops here we'll be pretty solid, however we just landed a 4 star big man! Will this effect Parker's decision? Stewart will have a solid dude in the key with him for 4 years if joins in. Domino effect? No schollies left
Oh yeah I know man! I'm so so so so so STOKED about us having a major paint presence in the MWC. Moemeka, Jones, Naughton, Herndon, Barnes, Dalton, and now Thompson. That my friends is what we've been waiting for. That's 6 legit deep in the post positions. They'll be capable of throwing BIG lineups at opponents too. We now have the capability of putting Dalton and Herndon as monster 3 swing men. Mobility could be an issue for that but man think of the possibilities.laxwyo said:Don't forget that Broderick Jones was a rivals 4* athlete coming out of high school too.

""When the whole recruiting thing started, I didn’t think going away from home would be a big factor, not having that extra support system that I’ve had since I’ve been in second grade," Thompson said. "But I guess it was just more being close to home and just feel way more comfortable just being an hour away from home I guess instead of a seven-hour trip."
"Every kid always wants to play in the tournament, and they always want to play in the biggest arena, and they want to play in front of packed houses," Thompson said. "At first, I guess, I was kind of, I wouldn’t say that was a big factor for me, but it definitely played into the role. But just when I took my visits there, I was just in such awe of how big and how classy everything was there."
