This isn't a complaint, but a question. I don't ever remember seeing Brian Hill receive a pass. Do we not have anything in the playbook where he catches the ball out of the backfield?

Hill caught 20 passes last year. How many of those were because the QB was under pressure and just had to get rid of the ball to the flat? Probably most of them. With Allen's mobility, that takes those catches away from Hill because he keeps looking downfield instead of at the safety valve.

He's been damn good in protection. Hill's blocking has been a big reason that we've given up so few sacks.CodyPoke said:How is Hill in pass protection? To make it in the NFL he may need to be good at that as well as catching.
Yep. Plus, it gives him another chance to hit people. And being 6'1 220lbs, he can go toe to toe with a good number of linebackers, and even DEs if need be.LanderPoke said:He's been damn good in protection.
