Just got home from the game. The entire team (especially Nance) had the first game in the "New AA" jitters for about 2/3 of the first half. First I will say I was about 15 feet from Nance when he was undercut/pulled down under the basket and I clearly saw his face as he was going down and you could tell it was a face of worried terror. After he found out he could take a hit like that and was ok, he was good to go.
This team is going to be a good one. I'm impressed with all the depth on this team and when they all got some PT, you could see their confidence go up. Many people gave up on Sellers a long time ago, but I gotta say he is improved significantly - his footwork is much better than it used to be. He's not starter material, but he is going to get some PT at certain spots in some games. Herndon is going to be a big asset to this team this year.
On another subject, the AA crew has some bugs to work out on the video boards, scoreboards, and sound system. The stat part of the video board should flash the player's number when he commits a foul for about 5 seconds or so. I think they should put the names (Cowboys/Visitors) above the scores. The sound system has an echo and too much bass - which makes it hard to understand.
