wow, I didn't see this coming. If you would have told me Hankerson and Adams would shoot that poorly and we still win easily, I wouldn't have believed it. Amazing bench contribution tonight. Plus, Cooke and Nance just dominated the paint.

I really hope we continue to see them getting early game time it worked out really good tonight and it could be a game changer in the second half if we get 10 from the bench each game.

+1

Give the starters fresh legs late and likely keep the starters out of foul trouble. Give the bench player the opportunity to contribute without the high pressure of being down 2 in the second half trying to hit a shot.

If the bench can contribute in the first half, they may be able to step up in a crucial moment.

Also... we need Hank man.

He looks so close to getting out of the slump. Nothing was going in. I hope his confidence is okay.

Glad we won but I won't get too excited until we can pull off a win at UNLV or the PIT and not lose any of these other games we aren't supposed to lose such as AFA or Nevada.

Was very glad to see the contribution off of the bench and I think Shyatt should bring players in at the beginning of games like that every game and actually let them play a few minutes like he did tonight . Hope he continues to do that as the team seemed to play well with everyone bringing some energy tonight.

Only thing better than the win is the epic meltdown going on over at ramnation. Games like this have to help our recruiting of Colorado kids. Plus, if you're a high school kid, you have to be a little bit afraid watching Eustacy act like an out of control maniac on the sidelines.

Absolutely loved watching him throw the towel over his head basically waving the surrender flag.

Eustacy doesn't appear to recruit out of high school, so this win is probably not a factor in recruiting Colorado players. He prefers players like Avila (who probably got booted out of Navy) or others who transfer to CSU.

Does anyone know what the attendance was for this game. GoWyo doesn't have a recap or stats yet and my patience has waned.

8672 or something like that.
Closer to 9 than 8.

Also appreciated thanks again. Nice to see our numbers that high. Hoping we keep them there and have the potential for another 10,000 plus game before the end of the season. Been a long time since we have done that!

Yup, it was 8672. Third straight game over 8,000. 2203 were students.

Looks like a lot of standing around by the Cowboy fans. Can anyone in that barn please make some noise?
Woah original. Someone not here bitching about the crowd

I only calls em' like I sees em', and this is pathetic.

Son you don't know shit. It was damn loud and the crowd was into the game from start to finish. Over 2k in students for the first time in years.

But how about those Cowboys? Some on here bitch and moan about this and that but even the players like Adams and Chuck Jr that didn't score were putting the pressure on great on defense. CSU makes a living off of fast break scoring (25% of their points!!!!!) and they had ZERO fast break points tonight.

And SeatleCowboy. The fuck man? "I'll wait and see how they do on the road". Yea better wait to make a judgement about this team who is 19-4. 8-2 in the Mountain West.
Let me say that again. 19-4 8-2 in the Mountain West
Yep I can see how you would have a hard time with how this team looks
I cannot stand the ridiculous things some "Wyoming Fans" say on here

I'm not being ridiculous at all or bitching just saying I will wait before i get my hopes up. I am enjoying this team and glad they are winning but I am also realistic and know they have to play better on the road or there will not be any NCAA tournament . I am glad they are having a good year but it is NCAA tournament or bust as far as I am concerned. So yeah I am waiting to see how they do on the road. Not sure how that is ridiculous.

If you want to get pumped up over one win and the NIT go for it no one is stopping you lol

Tell me about it. I'd hate it if they finished with their best season in 12 years!

That's great but doesn't mean much to me unless they make the NCAA tournament. I'll support them no matter what but the reality is if you aren't making it into the NCAA tournament then it really isn't that big of a deal. Just my opinion.

See how they do on the road?
We have beaten CSU, SJSU, and Fresno on the road.
And get to play AFA and Nevada on the road.
We have a very realistic chance at grabbing a minimum of 5 wins.
And we can pick up a 6th, 7th, or 8th road win if we win 1 or 2 or all 3 of the road games against SDSU, UNLV and NM.

Not trying to get your hopes up?
Man we are in first place of the MWC and are 8-2 and already matched last seasons win total, have the MWC Player of the Year and likely the MWC Coach of the Year.

We are getting more and more fans to games than in the last decade it seems like (don't quote me on that), and people are buzzing about the Pokes.

Even people up here in Corvallis mention the Pokes and how good they are when they see the Pokes logo. I couldn't imagine what it is like in the 307!

This team is flying high and if we get this AFA win, and Boise beats SDSU, we can open a 2 game lead on the rest of the MWC with 6 games left.

Reminder: Regardless of what happens with the Boise-SDSU or the SDSU-Wyo games, we still get San Jose State at home, go to Reno, and get Fresno State at home in the 3 games following the SDSU game.
Great time to either extended a win streak from 3 to 6, or bounce back from a tough loss and chalk up 3 W's.

BUY IN MAN! Now is the time!

BUY IN MAN! Now is the time!

I guess I must have confused all of you or something. I have already "bought in" as you like to put it but I am more of a realist and not a homer like most are on their home team message boards.

So yeah I am excited that we have a chance to make the tournament and that it is the best team we have had in 12 years and yeah we won on the road against a bunch of bad teams except for CSU so big deal. I am saying they need to beat some decent teams on the road not just bad teams.

The sad reality is they can't lose more then 2 more games the rest of the way or no NCAA so all i meant was I am waiting or hoping to see a road victory at either UNLV or New Mexico because we are most likely not getting one at SDSU so that leaves only one other game we can lose and we have to win the rest or we are not going to the NCAA.

So I am hoping we can somehow find a way to get it done. My heart says we can do it but my head says we can't. So hopefully my heart is right. At the end of the day win or lose I'll support them and always have but would like to see an NCAA berth with this team and if they get one or don't get one it isn't going to effect my life but would be nice to see it happen for the team and the fans.

2 more losses doesn't get us into the Big Dance? BS.

19-4 now. 8 conference games left. Up to 3 MWC-Tourney games left.
6-2 in regular season, and 2-1 in MWC Tourney puts us at 9-2 in final 11, making us 27-7 and likely MWC Regular Season champs.
That is going to the Big Dance.
Even with a 6-2 in final 8 with a first round loss puts us at 25-7 which is going to be pretty close, if not a 13 or 14 seed.

He said we can't have more than 2 more losses, and he's absolutely right I think. If we lose 3 or more from here out, we have to win the tourney to go dancing. And that's even if we manage to win the regular season title. Another thing, we would be no lower than a 12 seed in the tourney, 13-16 are for the champs from the smaller conferences or a big upset from others, we wouldn't be a big upset.
