Friday Bonfire

I know, I get it.....UW sports suck, football sucks, fire Burman, Fire Sawvel, etc.

But on another note, is anyone going to the homecoming bonfire on Friday? Sounds like it will be a good time!

But instead of shopping around when we built the porch last time, we went with the first bid that came in. As a result, we are still paying for a porch that has already broken down and is useless.

Right now there’s a burning bag of poo on our front porch. A people lined up on the sidewalk with full bags to add to the fire!

I will be in Laramie during the day Friday but will leave in protest of poopie football and indulge in a few craft brews in Cheyenne Friday night. Saturday I will leave for seeing relatives in Colorado which I originally was going to skip.

Wyoming football has so often lost the homecoming game in recent years I don’t know why I decided to originally go. I like to see wins in conference play. For the safety of others on the roadways I can’t mix watching a Wyoming football game and avoid the urge to road rage fighting off visions of Sawful dancing through my head.

True the front porch is in rough shape, but when I walked in the house the ceiling was leaking water from the upstairs bathrrom, the kitchen was on fire and there was no electricity. Gotta get those under control before I can paint the porch and install the porch swing.

If athletics has to take a back seat to other more pressing issues, then so be it. I can understand that. Just knowing that there is a plan and a general timeline for when us fans might expect to see a light at the end of the tunnel is helpful.

My expectations are high for you. You have an impressive military resume. You've called yourself "brilliant" and a "once in a generation" talent. I'm looking for the results to also earn those adjectives. Good luck to you.

I remember Wyoming doing this back in the 90s for a Border War. Student Housing was military style barracks buildings back then. 2201 Coe #116 was my jam.
