Friday Bonfire

I know, I get it.....UW sports suck, football sucks, fire Burman, Fire Sawvel, etc.

But on another note, is anyone going to the homecoming bonfire on Friday? Sounds like it will be a good time!

You talked a lot about athletics being the front porch for The University. If that is the case, our front porch is in very rough shape - the entire thing needs rebuilt. But instead of shopping around when we built the porch last time, we went with the first bid that came in. As a result, we are still paying for a porch that has already broken down and is useless.

What's the plan to fix the porch? It's time to step up to the plate and show your leadership. The silence is deafening.

Right now there’s a burning bag of poo on our front porch. A people lined up on the sidewalk with full bags to add to the fire!

I will be in Laramie during the day Friday but will leave in protest of poopie football and indulge in a few craft brews in Cheyenne Friday night. Saturday I will leave for seeing relatives in Colorado which I originally was going to skip.

Wyoming football has so often lost the homecoming game in recent years I don’t know why I decided to originally go. I like to see wins in conference play. For the safety of others on the roadways I can’t mix watching a Wyoming football game and avoid the urge to road rage fighting off visions of Sawful dancing through my head.
