Football starts tomorrow....

Ummmmmm................... I want Mike Vorel back. I'm fucking lost without that dude. This is not an attempt to be funny. I'm seriously in the fucking dark, about everything and wtf is Gags doing? I don't care about baseball right now. Especially little league or whatever.
 
In case some of you are wondering where Tanner Simpson is......He has been fighting a foot injury since the Mich State game last year. He has tried many different things and still can't get it to where he can run. He has been rehabbing it all summer and he is still not ready to go. As his dad I can tell you he would like nothing more than to be out on the field with his brothers but it just isn't in the cards right now.
 
I am a little miffed about todays level of coverage. I can give Gags and Holmgren a pass when there is "nothing" to report. Vorel was in a different league in his ability to sniff out and present stories when there weren't stories to present. But to have next to nothing coming out on the first day of camp is quite baffling. I am rather disappointed honestly. I would love MORE than a short compilation video of random drills and stretching... Give me info on position battles, initial impressions, surprises and disappointments. Anything that requires some brain power. Any monkey can film drills and what not.
 
They only had 30 minutes of media access to practice today. From Holmgren's videos, it was basically them warming up. What more do you want, a play-by-play breakdown of every warmup drill?

As for Gagliardi, most of his tweets today were from practice. Still, he's responsible for covering more than just University of Wyoming athletics. The little league game you're referring to was last night btw.

Thats terrible to hear. As a fan, I was stoked to see him flying around the field. Hope he gets his foot on the mend and we see him out there soon. Sorry to hear its not working as well as hoped.

Wait...So we can all blast Holmgren when its the offseason and he has not stories but now that were in season and he has no stories and its ok?

I'm anxious/terrified to see how this freshman experiment pans out. Bohl unfortunately really has no choice. It's this or go JC, and we know nobody wants a quick fix that sacrifices long term development.

Bohl gets the benefit of the doubt because he's Bohl, but historically in college football...playing this many freshman with no experience leads to a rough season. If the front seven can't get pressure, watch out folks.

How about some in depth reporting on these positions of weakness, and what players are looking to make impact. Id like to hear about some of the Freshman players and their take on stepping up. Who the Fuck are the captains this year? The list goes on and on. Why do i have to ask the obvious questions ? It's the reporters job.

Its one practice. I know everyone has questions and is excited for football but there is a lot of time for this stuff to unfold. There's a lot of questions that the coaches don't have answered yet, let alone an outside reporter. It's a marathon, not a sprint so relax.
