Football Schedule FINALLY Released

Holy crap. If J-Rod is saying 8-4 I have to say 10-2 at worst, 14-0 at best, with a win over the Ducks in the Rose Bowl, and a final BCS Ranking of #3.
Ps...the reason it is the ducks and pokes in the rose bowl is becasue Ohio State winner of the Big10 will be in the national championship game against the Beavers (Pac12) champs.
Don't put me into this position J-Rod...lol

Hahaha hey now! I'm quickly learning that after Boise, Fresno, followed by SDSU.....the rest of the conference comes down to "who sucks the least?" The MWC is weak, no getting around it. It comes down to math. Someone has to win among that group......I think its Wyoming......8-4....playing a bowl game in either New Mexico, San Diego, or Boise. Vegas if the bowl order gets weird. It will look very similar to 2011....minus the USU massacre.

Haha I do agree with that. But I really don't know that SDSU is all that good. I wouldn't be surprised if they had a let down like we did after we were 1 quarter away from being co MWC champs with TCU and Boise.

And I wouldn't be surprised if not only did we "suck the least" like you said but also surprised some people like 2011 and were actually "good".

Apparently Utah State's offense was a full-blown dumpster fire in their spring game today. Keeton returns next season, but they lost everyone in their WR corps....and their top RB.....Keeton was "running for his life" all day.

One of SJSU/USU (or both) will drop off this year with thanks to their significant coaching changes.....the Aggies are looking like a solid candidate for that early on.

When your fans bust out the old, "I hope those JC recruits are ready to go in the fall"....you have serious problems.

Northern Colorado is one of the worst programs in the Big Sky.. last year was their most successful season since becoming an FCS program. Pokes should handle them easily.

In no way is UNC one of the worst teams in the Big Sky. We won 4 out of 5 games without our two All-Americans, both will be back by August. We also finished above the Griz. I'm not saying we will beat Wyoming, but I don't think it will be a blowout.

Didn't Utah blow out UNC?
Brett Smith will go off on UNC...bad. It will probably be a 20+ point win.

Northern Colorado owns 9 Big Sky Conference wins since they entered the Big Sky in 2006. They are the worst Big Sky team in the league. 4 BSC wins last year fell one game short of matching their all-time number of Big Sky wins. Congrats on finishing ahead of Montana (whom beat the Bears 40-17 on the road last year), their worst season since 1985.

.....BURN!

Ok..I am changing my 20 point win to 30.
Brett Smith + DC calling the plays + generally bigger and better players + being in Laramie = shit show.
Wyo better kill this team.

That's not logical. We finished 6th in a conference of 13. How are we the worst team? We won 4 out of our last 5 games of the season. We played our best football at the end of the season, and as I've mentioned without two All-Americans.

Shouldn't you guys be discussing this on eGriz or something? ;)

We could, but it'd get lost in the threads of moving up to the Pac12.

UNC owns the worst winning percentage among active Big Sky teams (excluding the 4 new schools).

Now THAT is illogical. No way in hell Montana ends up in the PAC-12. You got a better shot of Congress enacting term-limit laws for Congressmen & women and laws to lower pay for them as well. Translation: FAT CHANCE!!!!!

One thing Wyoming and Greeley U have in common? Both lost to Cal Poly last season. :P Cowboys have little room to talk....

If you really think a team that finished 6th in a 13 team conference is the worst team in the conference, then you're an idiot. If you're going by winning %, we aren't the worst by any means either. We have a 49% winning percentage.

Records and winning % in the Big Sky

Haha I didn't forget it. If we have Brett Smith I say we win by 30.
Remember when we played Texas St. and Brett destroyed that team?
The team never played well in it's first game of season against FCS teams (SUU and Weber St.) but when we were a couple games in, we destroyed Texas St. but yes we did lose to Cal Poly, sans Brett Smith.

And yeah yeah everyone is going to say that football is a team sport and 1 man can not do it by himself. Unless that 1 man is a QB who is hands down better than everyone on the other team, and his own team.

Plus our RBs will be much better than UNC.

And sorry Bigskybears, but UNC is one of the worst teams in the big sky. Their best season since 2003 was last year when they went 5-6. Before that they were winning from 0-3 wins a year.
UNC in Big Sky is the equivalent to UNLV in the MWC.

Normally just a crap team.
