First down play calling...

Anyone want to venture a guess at the % of running we do between the tackles on first downs Saturday?

I think, if we get to 12 first downs, 10 of the first down plays will be running between the tackles. 83.3%.

And that sucks.

We do tend to run the ball quite a bit on first downs, but most teams do. I still think running the ball is the best way for us to move the ball although it wouldn't hard to try a few long downfield passes on 1st downs. Mix things up a bit because we all know how predictable we are..
