Fire Tom Burman and Fire Jay Sawvel

Think we'll hear anything from Burman at all?
We will get an eventual quote "Jay didn't meet the expectations we have for the program. Him and I sat down and went over those expectations for next year blah blah blah..." He typically takes the same speech and changes a few words and repackages it. What we won't get from Burman is any blame on him and the athletic department for the absurd contract, hiring process, oversight failure, etc...

A little off-topic but what's up with the comment at bottom of your posts, about : WYO1016 ?
Long story but when pbj was hired, I obviously was not a fan of how it went down. A certain poster even made vulgar comments about Burman and my family. Ironically the same poster now likes antii-Burman and anyi-pbj posts. Since then, I've probably overstepped with some of my comments about certain media skills. I don't think I'm wrong; they just probably don't need to be said here.

Why is that ironic? Do you view it as incompatible to have been hopeful during the time Sawvel was hired and to be anti-Sawvel now? To me that seems rational.

Appreciate your response and for what it's worth, I enjoy your posts.

I’m not sure it is predictable but how much revenue in season ticket renewals, game day ticket sales, apparel, and concessions will be lost next season by sticking with the current regime? I am not alone in knowing I will not be attending any football games next season. Many of my friends and family feel the same way.

I’m all for supporting the team , but it’s boring and frustrating to watch. Anything else in the commercial world that can be described as boring and frustrating don’t last long and usually end up bankrupt.

I am not bailing on UW football...probably until the day I die. It is my favorite live sport to watch, and I absolutely love watching the brown & gold at the War, yes, even when we suck ass (although infuriating at times). The game day environment is a blast, and the buzz is spectacular...from tailgating to our awesome WTMB and beyond.

The silence from Tom and UW Leadership on the state of the Football program is depressing. For all of my criticisms of the state of Wyoming, the city of Laramie, I have an incredible amount of love for the place. I want nothing more than to take my wife to Laramie for a football game and show her the city that gave this kid from Philly a chance to jumpstart his career.

I remember waking up early for games at the War when I could reasonably expect we would put a decent product on the field. We didn't win as much as I have liked, but man we were fun to watch. I remember driving to Vegas, on a whim, with my classmates (skipping classes, btw) for the MW tournament and winning the whole damn thing, stumbling to the nearest tattoo shop with 8 of my buds and getting steamboat tattoos. Wyoming Athletics was my first real taste of Division 1 football, and I love it, and always will.

I don't know where I go from here, but god damn I'm sad.
