Inaction is the same as acceptance.
Yes. What you permit, you promote.Inaction is the same as acceptance.
We will get an eventual quote "Jay didn't meet the expectations we have for the program. Him and I sat down and went over those expectations for next year blah blah blah..." He typically takes the same speech and changes a few words and repackages it. What we won't get from Burman is any blame on him and the athletic department for the absurd contract, hiring process, oversight failure, etc...Think we'll hear anything from Burman at all?
A little off-topic but what's up with the comment at bottom of your posts, about : WYO1016 ?Think we'll hear anything from Burman at all?
Long story but when pbj was hired, I obviously was not a fan of how it went down. A certain poster even made vulgar comments about Burman and my family. Ironically the same poster now likes antii-Burman and anyi-pbj posts. Since then, I've probably overstepped with some of my comments about certain media skills. I don't think I'm wrong; they just probably don't need to be said here.A little off-topic but what's up with the comment at bottom of your posts, about : WYO1016 ?
Why is that ironic? Do you view it as incompatible to have been hopeful during the time Sawvel was hired and to be anti-Sawvel now? To me that seems rational.Long story but when pbj was hired, I obviously was not a fan of how it went down. A certain poster even made vulgar comments about Burman and my family. Appreciate your response and for what it's worth, I enjoy your posts.Long story but when pbj was hired, I obviously was not a fan of how it went down. I was of a similar mindset . Hopeful at first, disgusted now.Why is that ironic? Do you view it as incompatible to have been hopeful during the time Sawvel was hired and to be anti-Sawvel now? To me that seems rational.
I’m all for supporting the team , but it’s boring and frustrating to watch. Anything else in the commercial world that can be described as boring and frustrating don’t last long and usually end up bankrupt.I’m not sure it is predictable but how much revenue in season ticket renewals, game day ticket sales, apparel, and concessions will be lost next season by sticking with the current regime? I am not alone in knowing I will not be attending any football games next season. Many of my friends and family feel the same way.
Literally the most boring crap ever watching this team the last 4 games (most games, really). Most painful football experience of my lifeI’m all for supporting the team , but it’s boring and frustrating to watch. Yeah, everyone is pretending the season didn't happen and everything is normal. WTF? The season's results demand a statement from Burman either way. Either say you support Sawvell or fire him. This fence sitting is disgusting. Will probably work at Wyoming, though, where no one really seems to careThe silence is deafening right now.
I am not bailing on UW football...probably until the day I die. It is my favorite live sport to watch, and I absolutely love watching the brown & gold at the War, yes, even when we suck ass (although infuriating at times). The game day environment is a blast, and the buzz is spectacular...from tailgating to our awesome WTMB and beyond.I’m not sure it is predictable but how much revenue in season ticket renewals, game day ticket sales, apparel, and concessions will be lost next season by sticking with the current regime?
