Depth Chart?

I thought Bohly was going to release a depth chart yesterday? Did I misunderstand / misread it somewhere?

I thought there was going to be one today, too.I've been anxiously awaiting to see how many freshmen we are going to start :tickedoff:

Notable:

Anthony Makransky starting over Tyran Finley

Carl Granderson backing up Eddie Yarborough

Joseph Parker the only frosh receiver listed on the two deep, backing up Tanner Gentry

Tommy Thornton backing up Jake Maulhardt

Brinkley Jolley (converted TE) backing up Ryan Cummings at the LT slot

Charlie Renfree starting at C

No kickers or returners listed

Good lord, the secondary is made up of children.

Appleby keeps getting smaller.

Anyone else a little worried that the WRs might not be able to get much separation? Speed isn't exactly for the strong suit of these starters.

I guess no real surprises, other than Finley. He must have pissed off Bohly at some point. The rest...well...whatever.

Silver lining? "Wyoming is poised to return 17 - 18 starters from this 2015 squad". Ugh.

EDIT: Oh, and 7 seniors on the 2 deep. Thanks dickface.

At least they're redshirts and have been in the system as long as anybody

There was an article on Gentry talking about how much better he knows the offense....the wr's need to be at a certain place to receive the ball...compared to last year. I think Gentry will have a break out type year. And, I think he is fast enough. With a solid starting QB, I think we'll see better results as far as timing, execution, and accuracy are concerned.

I am surprised to see Thornton #2 in the depth chart. He must be a good athlete........but we haven't heard much about him since fall camp started.

In regards to Appleby....he is small. Similar is stature to former Poke Dusty Hoffsneider. If we wanted to go big, we have that opportunity too. I am surprised to see Cain in front of Fields. Fields was in the two deep last year.

Didn't someone say that Finley is like a leprechaun out there? Bohl might be giving up his experience for someone with better size.

Note that he's No.2 at the X receiver, but he's probably No. 4 overall behind Gentry, Maulhardt and Parker.

I know he needs to put on a few pounds, but I'm really excited about this kid. He was one of my favorites from this past recruiting class, kind of like Brian Hill was my guy the year before.

Who the hell is Makransky and can Thornton run?
A walk-on who redshirted last season.

Our LB's are listed at safety sizes. Big RB's are going to punish them
The health of the 1st-string DL is everything. If that breaks, god help this defense. They'll be the opposite of pick your poison.

I'm surprised no Doddles, CJ Johnson, Price or Murphy in the two-deep at WR. There's been a lot of press about those guys. Mulhardt and Gentry must be better than I thought.
