I thought the link was going to state that Daniel's aggressive and rare blood disorder that made him miss the season was all behind him. Thanks for the bio from the Wyoming website... I haven't heard anything about his condition since he stopped playing, have you?

To answer your question...was told that Sullivan could have kicked this year. So I am certain he will take over where he left off as a true Frosh...with another year of school behind him, a stronger leg, etc. Oh, and I think he will live up to the hype of being the next great kicker at UW, that we have been missing for years.

Don't know what this means. Can he take the 2nd semester off and still be allowed to play next fall by NCAA rules? I guess as it's medical red shirt he can. Only one kicker on Rivals lists Wyoming as a school he's interested in, Joey Cejudo, from Mt. San Antonio Jr. College. Someone on the other board said that he had an in-home visit from a Wyoming coach. The problem is he was only 3 for 7 last season as a part time kicker and his punting average was only 36.7, so he wouldn't be a high quality back-up. If they're thinking kicker for next season, I think this is when the coaching staff needs to step up and convince a successful high school kicker to think about Wyoming, even it we're not on their list. Maybe a "hey, no one else has offered you yet" sort of thing. Or could DC dip into the German pipeline yet again, and find us a guy that can kick a ball? That's one of the things they're known for over there.

He's not leaving, since he said he'll see them in the fall.

But maybe for the best he just takes it easy for a while until summer or whatever, you don't want to take unneccesary risks.

I believe we have a kicker who performed ok this year. I don't think we need to give another schollie to one. Williams did fine.

Yeah, a couple of those blocked kicks can attributed to the guys upfront forgetting to block.

I agree. You can't usually blame a kicker for a block unless it's straight into the line. Usually the O line gets blown up or a speedy guy comes in off the edge. Since I heard the staff was visiting another kicker and now gopokes says he knows someone we're recruiting hard, maybe Williams isn't coming back and maybe Sullivan is a maybe again.
