CSU Ticket Prices

Has anyone noticed how much CSU is charging for the border war?

Starting at $100 per ticket...Crazy.

The only game on their schedule that is more is BYU - starting at $130.

Oh...and those valuable "Pac-12" opponents... Boise State and SDSU starting at just $34 :ROFLMAO:

Yeah, that is supposed to be when things even out.

But with things changing so rapidly in college football right now, who knows how things look in a decade.
 
They may have gotten it all wrong. There are a lot tickets available. Some of the upper deck sections look completely unsold. I live in Fort Collins and there is very little buzz around this game. Talking to some sheep fans in my neighborhood and their expectations for this years team is very low.

I'm just dreading the day when dynamic ticket pricing comes to college sports. Maybe some larger programs already use it.

I can't think of a better way to piss off the vast majority of your fan base.

If UW did dynamic pricing it would only work if there is an expectation of winning a championship and the scheduled opponents aren’t a CUSA or MAC leftover lined up with an FCS program you have to look up to find where they are located.

California (2029) and Arizona (2033) are the only names in the future if not bought out that are likely to be instant higher demand. I don’t count the sheep as being anything other than an expected in demand game followed by AFA and really not much after that unless the program starts winning consistently (including conference games).
 
Just looking at 2027

CSU has: Arizona (Home), Sam Houston (Away), Wisconsin (Away), HCU (Home)
Wyoming has: SUU (Home), Utah (away), North Texas (Away), CMU (Home)

Highly doubtful CSU would give up their game against Arizona or the payday at Wisconsin much like Wyoming wouldn't give up their payday at Utah. Since Reeves seems to be the AD I just don't see giving up another home game for CSU. Unless the P4 schools, really Wisconsin go to the SEC type of scheduling I just think 2027 is a wash

If Wyoming gives up a 2027 game the Border War would be in Fort Collins three years in a row 2026-2028

Would you like Burman to see if we can get rid of our Central Michigan home game to go back to Fort Collins? I’m sure he has strongly considered it.

Oh and good news - we do play North Texas next year. In Texas….again….
 
I’m so excited for our upcoming home schedules!!’

After this year’s UCONN and Northern Colorado, we have 2027 Central Michigan and Southern Utah and 2028 Idaho State and Akron.

CSU comes to town in 2029.

If this doesn’t get everyone pumped for cowboy football, then I don’t know what will!!!

Our home football schedule is pretty bleak. That being said, I'm not sure how much of that falls on Burman. It's pretty consistent with what other MWC teams are getting. This years home OOC games by team:

Air Force: Duquesne, Navy, UConn
Hawaii: New Mexico State, Sacramento State
Nevada: Western Kentucky, Montana State
New Mexico: Central Michigan, Mercyhurst
NDSU: Jacksonville State, Fordham
Northern Illinois: Illinois State (they are only playing one OOC home game and three on the road)
SJSU: Cal Poly, Fresno State
UNLV: Memphis, Cal
UTEP: Texas Southern, Oregon State

Outside of UNLV, every MWC team has a pretty pathetic home OOC schedule.

We had a good North Texas team coming to town. Burman gave it away to go to Fort Collins. I’d say that 100% falls on him.
 
The reason we don't have good home games is because the program sucks. It has been on a downward trajectory the entire 20 years Burman has been the AD. We didn't get a PAC 12 invite and we are left as one of UNLV's patsies as they try and make a run at a P4 invite. So the lack of quality home games in on Burman. So it's entirely on him. Yet he's still there picking up a ridiculous paycheck for leading the program into the toilet. I wish Reeves would give him a broom and have him sweep up the floors for his last year as that would be more productive that what he is doing as AD. THe fan base should be totally outraged. I know i am.

💯 How is that bum still is the AD office. He presided over the demise of Wyoming sports
