Cowboys to host New Mexico, let's sellout the AA!

It's called common courtesy. They have no right to it, nor anymore right than the person coming to take it from them. In this situation, I would say "is anyone sitting there", neighbors say "yes", I say "ok" and look elsewhere. You are making this WAY more complicated than it actually is in real life.

Solutions:
1) Ask your neighbor to save it, saying you are a squatter, using the unused seat rule.
2) Have the AA staff supply "Will be Back" signs to place on the seat.
3) Don't drink so much beer that you have to pee all the time (admittedly, the least practical solution)
Why should they have the right to get that seat when they return if they didn't pay for it?

Let the AA managers write something into the rules about it. I don't know -- call it something --

Squatter's rights.
Adverse possession.
"Finders, keepers"
First one there gets it for the game.

They have a name for it, "season ticket holders."

Just shut up! You are either just belligerent or mentally challenged. This whole thread is over your head.

I don't know how this thread went astray.

We are going to have one of our best crowds in the last decade today. It should be a blast. I think this is the game when we finally bring the reputation of the AA crowd back to life. It's going to get noisy in the AA.

It is very likely this is going to be an excellent crowd.

Common courtesy would be to sit in the seat you paid for and not in the one someone else paid for.

That's why we are discussing a rule that would would enable you to sit in unused seats. You inability to maintain the flow of this conversation is what is frustrating people. When we try to explain a point to you, you revert back to an argument from Point A while the rest of us are on Point K. I'm all for some healthy banter, but your inability or refusal to grasp this concept is ridiculous. And before you say you get what we are saying, either A) No, you don't, or B) then quit being a dick.

The point is, it will be nice if we sellout today. Or get near a sellout.
And if we continue to win, not just this year, but get to the point of sustained winning, then we will be ever closer to either selling out every game or almost every game.
We are extremely sr star heavy, which generally means we will drop from where we are now. But, good coaching from a quality bunch of coaches should mean our drop off won't be like it was in the early 2ks and we should linger around the top tier of the conf and then sustain from there.
Hears to winning, because that means people will show up and we won have to argue about a vast majority of seats of ticket holder who don't show for the majority of home games...

This

Just did a quick count and there are 2,132 tickets left for the game. If we can get a good walk up crowd, it could be close to a sell out.

About the seats:

You are at a bar and the guy next to you orders a bowl of peanuts, eats a few, them leaves and goes home. Is it OK for you to eat the nuts or is it best for the bartender to throw them away, since you didn't pay for them?

You are driving down the street and see that someone has put out a lamp for trash pickup. You could use the lamp. Do you not pick it up because you didn't pay for it.
