Could UNLV be a trap game

There is no such thing as a "trap" game for a team that was 2-10 a season ago. That is my opinion. Before the season, UNLV was the heavy favorite for this game. Wyoming still has a ton to prove. So, no.

ok scratch trap and insert shitty game, after all we've seen them over the years, but I highly doubt it in Nevada

After the Boise and the USU game, the Pokes have solidified themselves in my mind. With the way their offense is clicking I don't think there are many teams out there that they couldn't move the ball effectively on, certainly not in the MWC. I agree, now is not the time to get cocky but at some point we have to buy into the success as fans and realize that they are going to come out and compete every Saturday.

I don't know man. We are a pretty young team and weak on depth. We could be an injury away from losing out the rest of the season. Last year was a prime example of that. We were certainly better than 2 wins last year.

Depends on the player.

Aside from J Allen I disagree. I thought like you prior to the Granderson injury. I thought there was no way that our d would hold up, but we've done well without him. This is a different team now

Chase Appleby going out during the Nevada game really changed how our defense worked. We no longer stopped the run. We weren't getting any pressure on the quarterback. He is a key position.

Wacha and Winguard would be detrimental losses to our defense.

Losing Josh Allen would be bad. But so would losing either Hill or Wick or Roullier.

I guess my point is - just enjoy it - we are healthy and moving forward. But any loss above (or that I've missed) could be disastrous to the outcome of a game.

My point is still the same. I thought that about Granderson and we're still ticking.

I knew this was going to be a tough game, down by 6 at half. We need to clean up the turnovers, get Brian Hill in the game, and stop the damn read option.

Go Pokes!! Don't blow a game you should win.

I'm eating crow. Relay didn't expect the Pokes to come out flat, and just flat out get outplayed like that have so far.

Ok not to gloat but I truly had a feeling. It killed me today to board a plane from Phoenix to Denver today to land and see that drive unfold. Then listen to that horrible mistake in OT. We should have never gotten into a track meet like this and have to truly refocus and see how bad WE WANT IT against the Asstecs. Damn so disappointed
