OrediggerPoke said:There is no such thing as a "trap" game for a team that was 2-10 a season ago. That is my opinion. Before the season, UNLV was the heavy favorite for this game. Wyoming still has a ton to prove. So, no.

With the way their offense is clicking I don't think there are many teams out there that they couldn't move the ball effectively on, certainly not in the MWC. I agree, now is not the time to get cocky but at some point we have to buy into the success as fans and realize that they are going to come out and compete every Saturday.
Depends on the player.WyoBrandX said:I don't know man. We are a pretty young team and weak on depth. We could be an injury away from losing out the rest of the season. Last year was a prime example of that. We were certainly better than 2 wins last year.
Aside from J Allen I disagree. I thought like you prior to the Granderson injury. I thought there was no way that our d would hold up, but we've done well without him. This is a different team nowWyoBrandX said:LaradiseCowboy said:After the Boise and the USU game, the Pokes have solidified themselves in my mind. My point is still the same. I thought that about Granderson and we're still ticking.WyoBrandX said:LanderPoke said:Aside from J Allen I disagree. I thought like you prior to the Granderson injury. Chase Appleby going out during the Nevada game really changed how our defense worked. We no longer stopped the run. We weren't getting any pressure on the quarterback. He is a key position.
Wacha and Winguard would be detrimental losses to our defense.
Losing Josh Allen would be bad. But so would losing either Hill or Wick or Roullier.
I guess my point is - just enjoy it - we are healthy and moving forward. But any loss above (or that I've missed) could be disastrous to the outcome of a game.
