Yes, THAT Jay Foreman (and son of Chuck Foreman)

A good read from April, which includes talk on Walker and previous commit Patrick Arnold:

Chris Walker is an under-the-radar college football prospect.

An offensive lineman, he favors blue jeans and steel-toe work boots. Keeps his head down and does his job.\

"He's just an animal in the weight room," says Lincoln East coach John Gingery. "He's got a great upside. You can't get him off the field. He played both ways for us last season and played a lot as a sophomore. He's getting better all the time."

Another good writeup from preseason:

When opponents see Chris Walker coming at them, his 6-foot-6, 270-pound frame is formidable, perhaps even a bit scary.

So there is symmetry in the Lincoln East senior's choice to call his truck "Frankenstein."

"I have an '88 Bronco I'm restoring, soft-top. I call it my 'rat rod,' because when I got it, it was pretty rough, with pieces and parts of different Broncos," Walker said. "She looks like a Frankenstein truck."

Walker can be just as menacing on the football field, although he's learned to control his emotions.

"I didn't start football until late middle school. I played soccer for seven or eight years, but I got red-carded too much, so I quit," he said. "Now I'm pretty good about it on the field. Just shut your mouth and go to the next play.

"It's not worth getting ejected. I start both ways, so if I get ejected, what am I doing to my team if I'm not out there contributing?"

You guys see this kid? He looks like a shredded farm boy. And sounds like he's mean too! Perfect for what we want on the OL or DL

Good Post. I was thinking the same exact thing.

It makes my brain hurt to think that Dave Christensen and staff looked all over and all they could find was crappy linemen that rarely turned into anything but dough boys, no offense to Chase Roullier.

Craig Bohl finds guys that are already 270-290 pounds of muscle in high school, and are big, crazy animals when they step on campus.

This o-line class looks outstanding. Between the two tackles and Patrick Arnold, we have three more guys that will be able to start as true freshman...a la Gavin Rush.

We're developing a dominant offensive line with depth. That much is evident.

His hometown school didn't offer him...I like the guys that might have a chip on their shoulder!
I know last year we lost at least one guy to a P5 at the last minute after he got an offer after committing to us (now that I think about it, it may have very well been Nebraska).

I'm not saying this guy's heart is with the Huskers or anything, but I'm curious to see if any guys flip once they get a P5 offer. Hopefully our winning turnaround keeps guys committed here compared to last year...

It almost seemed unfair in those highlights how much bigger he was than all those he kept blocking. Definitely appears to have the potential to be good.

It was Nebraska and it was the night before signing day. Edelhaupt or some shit. Believe we signed Lololehea because of it. Seems to have worked

So far, most of the guys we've signed are just straight up big. Even for their position.
