I'm not sure why you think this way. It's not like they took their starters out. So they didn't throw a ton of homerun balls, but would you after the performance Rypien turned in the previous week? We did a decent job of stuffing the run for the most part.
Deayon, Sumner-Gardner, Yakoo, Vallejo, and Frazier all sat out the game. Those are all starters except for Frazier, who is the backup DE. Most for minor injuries. Then their game plan was as conservative as I've seen it all year. They started running excessively in the late 3rd...they just wanted to get it over with. I'm not the only one who felt this way, the Boise media got a quasi-bye week vibe as well. They jumped out to a big lead and then sat on it, as opposed to last year where they insisted on padding that point total.

They seem to do that a lot at home. Did it vs. CSU, Fresno (twice), and USU last year.

Who are these players and why do we care? Wyoming isn't exactly playing with a full and/or healthy deck either. We lost our starting QB and didn't have the services of our best receiver......that and half the team are freshman. No excuses, we still played well. Boise not only didn't pull their starters, they went for it on a few 4th downs. Wyoming made enough mistakes to allow Boise an easier than needed win.

Boise might have kept it closer to the vest because of the previous week's game. No sense in getting too crazy. All it takes is one fumble being taken into the end zone to change the dynamics of the game. I think Boise was focusing on playing a mistake free game.

Watching Wyoming is like watching Dallas this year.

Injury issues left and right and no real suitable backup capable of leading the team.

The non-fumble that could have been returned for a touchdown was huge; Bohl challenged and you could tell he really wanted the call, but it wasn't to be. Instead, BSU scored again and the game was over.

Our margin for error this year is razor thin, but if that ball comes out a split second earlier, Wingard returns it for a TD and this would have been a much more interesting game...
