Deayon, Sumner-Gardner, Yakoo, Vallejo, and Frazier all sat out the game. Those are all starters except for Frazier, who is the backup DE. Most for minor injuries. Then their game plan was as conservative as I've seen it all year. They started running excessively in the late 3rd...they just wanted to get it over with. I'm not the only one who felt this way, the Boise media got a quasi-bye week vibe as well. They jumped out to a big lead and then sat on it, as opposed to last year where they insisted on padding that point total.LanderPoke said:I'm not sure why you think this way. It's not like they took their starters out. So they didn't throw a ton of homerun balls, but would you after the performance Rypien turned in the previous week? We did a decent job of stuffing the run for the most part.
They seem to do that a lot at home. Did it vs. CSU, Fresno (twice), and USU last year.
