Circle Jerk on the UNI boards

Except those rings are on OUR coach's fingers now

Hopefully it works out for you guys, although Bohl still seems to be recruiting some of the same athletes UNI is. He was a great coach and I don't doubt he'll have things righted in the next few years once he has all of his athletes, personnel and system in place.

Hee hee, they are awfully insecure about their weak schedule over there. They're trying to impress us with their wins over South Dakota State and North Florida.

Except it is Wyoming that has the weaker schedule.

Northern Iowa -- #142

Wyoming -- #180

That SOS also does not include non-D-1 schools, which are not included in RPI or SOS factors. Wyoming played 2 schools that are not NCAA D-1. UNI played 0. No one is claiming UNI's SOS was one of the best in the nation. It's not. But it was decently stronger than Wyoming's.

I wouldn't call it insecure that we are giving posters like CowboyCO actual statistics that prove our schedule was NOT weaker and we did in fact beat those "weak" teams very, very convincingly. I'll use this time to thank the posters from Wyonation who have come over and have had actual conversations with us about basketball and the game tomorrow. Most of you have been incredibly pleasant to talk with. I think just about all of us are in agreement that tomorrow will be a battle.

Yawn. Missouri Valley.

Yeah -- that awesome schedule that had them facing - wait for it - 13 TEAMS WITH 20+ LOSSES. 17 games against teams with losing records.

I addressed this on your board. SOS is just a number. The non-conference cupcakes you beat had RPI ranks in the 200s and the ones we beat were in the 300s. Cupcakes are still cupcakes. My question has always been, who have you actually beaten? Luckily we will settle this on the court in 15 hours or so.

We are so emotionally invested in this game as my buddy has calculated that this back and forth with some unknown teacher from Podunk Iowa has no chance on this forum. I'm laughing my ass off at the diatribe presented. We've been waiting 10 plus years to be relevant. It boils down to playing at our potential, if Nance Jr plays w\ force and JA is on, watch out world....we can seal the 3rd round with a WYO.

I don't know if someone already mentioned this but we do have one common opponent this year Denver U

UNI won on the road by 10

We won at home by 26

Take that for what it is worth but I think that at least shows it should be a competitive game. At the same time we had I believe four common opponents with CSU in the non-conference and we beat all of the common opponents by more than CSU did and we see how Wyoming did against them this year.

Go Pokes

Reading the format of their board as if it was 2002 is boring. I'm looking forward to hearing their cheerleaders chearing "Squeal Piggy Squeal" everytime their players hit a free-throw." It's good to see that Seattle has begun to reinforce the floor by the baskets - I'd hate to see their chearleaders break through.
