Wyoming would have already tried to schedule a visit but right now Boucher obviously turned it down and doesn't want a visit at this point as he wants to check out Texas Tech and Minnesota first and decide if he wants to go to either of those schools.

I believe he is only allowed 5 "official" visits though so if he did end up taking all 5 visits one of his final 6 schools would be left out. I know each school is only allowed a certain amount of "official" visits from recruits as well. I am not sure what that number is. I thought he was supposed to go to visit Minnesota the last weekend of April but looks like if he goes to Tech he will be pushing the Minnesota visit back a week as well.

Minnesota got a commitment from Reggie Lynch, 6'10" forward from Illinois State. I believe that takes them out of the running for Boucher. If he does not like Texas Tech, maybe we still have a shot.

Not necessarily. Lynch has to sit out a year, and Minnesota is still very young and inexperienced in the post.Wyolie Coyote said:

Reggie Lynch was a really good pick up for Minnesota. He is actually a transfer from Illinois St. Has NBA potential.
He does have to sit out a year like Josh stated and it does use one of Minnesota's scholarships for next year but they had a total of 3 available so they will still have 2 left and they are still going after Boucher.

Have to think that, even though Minnesota has scholarships available, signing a guy who is similar is size, etc is going to affect Boucher's decision. He could very well sign with Minnesota, but I think they just hurt their chances a little.

Has he said the kind of program or style he is looking for or prefers? This is just my :twocents:, I have no proof or idea how he feels, but my gut says he wouldnt say UW and Tech are in his 6 finalists if he was opposed to our style of play. Minnesota Head Coach Richard Pitino and their assistant coach Note Pomeday were in Powell today to see Chris Boucher, so I would say they are still going after him.
Guess he is being recruited heavily by Oregon now also .

Minnesota just picked up another commitment for 2015 class. I would say they are definitely out now for Boucher. I hope we are still in the mix with Boucher. Not optimistic but can hope.
