BSU @ MSU

BSU offense struggling to move the ball but they managed to kick a FG and take advantage of the Int.

MSU 7
BSU 3

two things

A ) I hate Boise's helmets.

B ) Sure hope that Boise cheerleader is O.K. She took hell of a shot to her back.

I think MSU is that good, but that Boise is rusty, and just plain inexperienced.
Although they have lost basically 3/4 of their team, they are still full of really good players, well coached and I am sure in the second half they will look better. Hoping they win, so that when we beat them it will be 2 wins against top 15 teams

BSU with a pick 6 and the game is tied 10 all, Boise offense can't move the ball but that defense is still pretty solid against the pass.

TD MSU
Their running back is an absolute beast!

Boise D is kinda reminding me of ours last year, struggling against the run game, but getting lucky in some turnovers.
17-13 MSU, time to see if the Boise O can get 6 on the board, (in one drive, not 2)

BSU hasn't done much on offense all night. MSU may have a lousy QB, but their big ass o-line combined with their big ass RB allows them to run at will on BSU.

That about sums it up. MSU is lucky they have Bell, or they would have gotten blanked at home tonight.

That's a quick end to BSU's 2012 BCS run. Tough loss considering the chance to win was there. Still the best in the MWC by a good margin though. That is a really good MSU team. They won't play a defense half that good the rest of the year.

BSU is very very vulnerable this season there is no way that BSU team that played tonight is the best in the MWC if that is the BSU that plays the rest of the year that team will be lucky to get 7 wins.

Really? If Southwick doesn't slip on that deep ball BSU scores and probably wins. Still at 7 wins? I think that's wishful thinking at best.

I have to disagree with you about them only winning 7 games. That Michigan St. defense is one of the top 5 defenses in the country. There isn't many teams that would move the ball on them. Both offenses weren't great but some of that was due to the defense. Boise will move the ball on everyone else they play.

Not saying they won't lose again but to say they would only win 7 games I think is a stretch. They will win 9 for sure and have a good shot at winning 10 or 11.

Yeah, exactly.

Like I said, Southwick doesn't slip on that pass to Potter, and everyone is sucking Chris Petersen's balls right now and talking about BCS bowl games. MSU was very fortunate tonight. That was a brutal task for such a young BSU team, and they did better than most would.

I can honestly see Boise State losing five games: They lost tonight and they have to play both BYU (home) and Southern Miss (road) Then they have to travel to Nevada and to Laramie. I can honestly see 5 losses as a real possibility. They just have a tough schedule for the team they have coming back.

I completely disagree it's a young team with a new offensive coordinator and tonight they showed something that haven't shown in 4 years and that is the inability to move the ball they are vulnerable against the run and they are not the BSU of the past 4 years.

Can they recover and play better yes they can but are they susceptible of being beaten yes they absolutely are and I'm sorry but I disagree with them being so much better than everyone in the MWC not this year.

BYU I will concede, and Nevada will be tough. But the rest? Optimistic. Crazy how all Wyo needed was to beat SDSU and AFA and now they're all that and a bag of chips. If Wyo is good enough to beat BSU, they should beat Texas tomorrow, or at least have it go down to the wire.

I honestly don't think we'll keep it close with Texas tomorrow. I don't trust Tormey's ability to be a really good DC despite what others on here say about him.
