Or worse, goes Corey Bramlet on us... that 7 turnover game that was the beginning of the end of a promising QB is easily the worst I've been to in ANY sport.

Please, educate me.......7 TO's by one player? When did that happen?

We should have won that game...

We were 4-1 at that point, and then lost every single remaining game, very much because our QB had turned into a headcase and we didn't have a backup that had any kind of report with the offense.

I remember that. My dad and I were there. If I recall he had all 7 TO's in seven straight Offensive possesions.

Hmm, I don't think that was the case as we had touchdowns and punts in between a few of them... but down 28-14 in the fourth quarter, he fumbled it on TCU 2, then we drove from our own side to their side again and he fumbled on TCU 17, then was intercepted at TCU 7... in the first half he fumbled it on our 15 and it was returned for a TD, as well.

He's on track to be a Freshmen All-American, all things condsidered.

But the WRs REALLY need to catch the ball. Smith has been right on the money, but they keep dropping them.

Definitly, but we need guys, outside of McNeil since he's out for the rest of the season, that can at least catch the ball consistently. Having a good go-to guy that has great hands and is good for those 3rd and 5 or 3rd and 7 downs is always a good thing. In those cases, they don't have to have speed (though I would not complain if they had it as well), but a consistent pair of hands is invaluable in those cases.

I'd like a receiver built like Malcom Floyd currently is, and with all his skills. 6'5, 225, catches everything thrown his way.

Only problem with Floyd is that he keeps getting banged up.

That's what happens to a fairly lanky guy who's used as a possession receiver in many cases. I still don't understand why they make him go up in traffic so he can get smashed by two linebackers and a safety at the same time. It's along the sidelines that he dominates anyway... guess they needed a surehanded guy in the middle when Gates was injured, though.

You mean like Josh Doctson? The kid is green, but he's going to be a beast!
