Bowl Possibility?

Technically SDSU is stronger than Air Force...

How do you figure that one? AFA beat BYU who beat SDSU who beat AFA.

SDSU is 5-2, Air Force is 5-3.
Also, in my mind, SDSU beat BYU @ BYU, no matter what BYU or the replay officials think. Without their two weeks of apologies, SDSU is 7-0.

Let it snow...let it snow...let it snow...

other than I have seen guys with broken legs run better in a marathon than we do in football...

Hillman is a legit back. Our best hope is to have it snow a foot or two...somehow get a 2 TD lead and let them try and pass their way back into it.

If there is a 50-50 chance of the Pokes winning each of the remaining four games (i.e., 1 chance in 2 or a probability of 1/2 winning each game) then the probability of them winning all of the four games is
1/16, or about a 6% chance. This is not good odds.

This. Even giving us better odds in say, New Mexico, it's still not a good overall picture.

Likewise, by the same method, the probability of us losing 3 games in a row was 1/8 or 12.5%, which is slim and we did that twice already this season.

By that logic, the Pokes beat BYU too.

I still like our chances against SDSU.

Close enough to beat, at least... the fumble would've taken away BYU's TD against SDSU. The blatant block in the back sprung Mizzou's final 65 yard TD - also would've been taken away. With the pass interference called, we would at least have had the chance to beat BYU...

I still maintain that BYU is a weaker team than SDSU, which was my claim all along. We better have snow and wind and stuff to mess them up this weekend, because their offense is a lot more potent than our - but then again, they've struggled a bit now as of late, so this could be our chance.
