Here we go an Adamsless Pokes squad going up against the 2nd team in the league at home. We'll be losing 20 plus points without Adams so a lot of ground is gonna have to be made up. Our defense might need to be the best its been all year to win this game. Ball movement and motion also need to be outstanding today. Looking like we'll see a hell of a lot more of James and Naughton today. Will Mo Marshall even get in there?

Forever the optimist! Well at least we're at home. Everyone needs to look at this as a learning experience. The players can get a feel for what next year is gonna be like and what they're gonna have to do to get to the next level.
 
Bovada has BSU -7. Do they not know Josh is out or what's the deal, I was assuming it would be close to 20

The only plus I see to this is JJ will get to play more. Hopefully he can have a breakout game!
 
I think Mo is gonna see some court time. Especially since it looks like any chance of a redshirt is gone after Josh subbed him in

Well this year is about growing, Josh Adams NBA stock, our fight for MWC tourney seeding, and then taking as many teams down with us in the MWC tourney. My excitement is growing for the MWC tourney but it sure would be nice to get to 6th, 7th, or 10th seed somehow. We need to avoid SDSU until the championship game. It sucks the MWC is trying to bury the Pokes.
 
I won't be surprised if we lose but I am actually kind of excited to see who steps up on his absence. Will we see JJ take off? Mcmanaman? Herndon? I expect a either a complete implosion or something pleasantly surprising.

Liebs is struggling today. Just too much being asked of him in this game. To his credit he's not getting his head down. Looks like Naughton has played himself out of the lineup again. Damn wish he could keep getting better but just a freshmen. We're playing pretty well.

I can't understand whoever he matches up against doesn't blow by him every possession... He's not fleet of foot
 
Awesome effort today!!! I like the future look for this team if our bigs can make jumps across the board in the offseason. Seriously the only team that can completely outclass us in the MWC right now is SDSU. Let's see how we do against them in Laramie.
 
This team will be fine next year without Adams. They will all improve over the off season and add Conway and Moemeka to it. Will have more experience. Think they will play more as a team next year and not look to just one guy most of the time. Good first half effort. Even if they don't win this game they have played well.
 
shooting the rock well. our guards need to keep the dribble, that deuschbag ref from the other night is back out there, out of position calling fouls that are simply not good calls. we need this game, boys. liking the pace of this one if we continue to shoot well, we should be in a spot to steal this one.
 
Cut down on the TO's in 2nd half and defend the perimeter better..who would have thought we'd be leading at this juncture in points in the paint category?
 
Washington should only shoot 1 or 2 threes a game. He barely got a couple to the rim, last couple were in and out. Jackson is hot for BSU.
