Bitching

I need to catch a break!!!
Last week we had a nasty storm and it tore huge branches off our trees and hit our house. Broke several windows, screen door was busted through and we had just repainted our house earlier this year... Now I need to almost repaint an entire side.
This week I get a call from my wife telling me that our water pipes are vibrating horribly. Come to find out we have a busted main.
Two days ago I was in the tractor on the farm and my knee started hurting like I sprained it. When I got home to get changed for work I found a Brown Recluse bite on my upper thigh. I tased the shit out of it and went to work with a sore and swelling leg. The bite has regained color, but my leg still hurts like hell.
Went out to the farm yesterday and my transmission started going out in my truck!
It's one freaking thing after another! I need a break.

Wednesday I had a couple of teeth pulled. No big deal that day, my mouth was numb and had pain pills (perscribed) to cover it. Thursday morning my mouth is killing me so I take the pain pills periodically to make sure it doesn't start hurting. Yesterday morning I take my last 1. I do well for a few hours, and when it wears off, I try some IBprofen. I'm in hell. So after slogging through a few hours I try some tylonal. I may as well have taken placebos for all the good it does. By this time, the dentist's office is closed and I have to wait until Monday. Today, agony until my stepfather calls and says he has a few painpills that are the same dosage. So I pick them up and 30 minutes later, I get my first relief of pain in 24 hours. But there's only 6 so I have to stretch them until Monday morning. Without them, it hurts to eat, drink, and move my mouth in general.

Squirrels chewed through my garden hose. I guess there ISN'T an abundance of water around here due to heavy rains on the front range.

Okay, that's not that big of a deal, but it pissed me off....

Things apparently dry up rather quickly when it's close to 100 degrees.

I'm not going to complain, though... one of our downspouts was coming down too close to the house and caused water to get into our crawlspace - first time that's happened in the 6 years we've lived here, though there was a board under it when Longmont had the flooding because of a small yard project, so that appears to have saved us then.

Anyway, I fixed the spout, and now it's drying up in the crawl space. Hopefully with how fast it's drying there won't be any mold problems.

Also found more water coming out by the furnace/AC. Not sure exactly how that happened, but I have a feeling I'm not going to like the answer... then again, I suppose there's a floor drain for a reason.

Sweet dreams I can't resist....creamy white, dreamy white....
