Big Key to this season.. Cooke

I really think this is a huge key to how Wyoming goes this year.... (cooke or this position).. We know nance/gray/adams will give us at least similar to last year. (I hope Adams stays about where he was when Nance went down when he became a man) Im still interested in Hank as well.. but if Cooke is a threat and other teams have to worry about him we WILL be in great shape this year... If they can double Nance from Cooke and not worry much .. that will hurt us. I think if Cooke doesn't show much we will see a shift during the year to other players in that position. I JUST HOPE he picks up a bit more for us this year. Any different thoughts?

Side note.. I think Hankerson/McMan/position will be interesting as well.. I think we will miss sobey a bit.... MAN will sunday EVER GET HERE?!!!!!

Sobey will be missed; he was really good last year after Nance went down. I will also miss Sobey's two-handed, whiteboy dunks. He was a very underrated dunker.

If Shyatt makes sure that Cooke knows that there are players on the bench that are eager to replace him, and will if things don't work out, then I think Cooke will be OK.

Sobey will be missed and I really think this is Cooke's year to shine, i've liked him since day 1, but it's time for him to get aggressive and be a force down low with Larry's tenativeness until conference season. Cooke can truly be a spark plug at times and I hope he does well this year...Our Pokes are gonna be just fine!!!

Cooke has shown flashes of being very good. His only real knock, was his free throws. Other teams had no worries about targeting him for those because he had trouble making them. If he got it to where he hits at least over 50%, I'll be happy.

Cooke would have pretty decent numbers if he could hit some FTs. Leaves a lot of points on the floor and big liability towards end of game. I think he'll be a lot better this year
