I don't think this has been posted. Sorry if it has been.

Wow. When was the last time we've EVER been in an article like that?

But unless Fresno finds a defense and a run game, they can only keep getting into shootouts so much.

Like another FS fan said on the MWC board, run game or no run game, we're going to keep winning unless someone can actually get to Carr. And our OL is miles ahead of last year; Boise has the best DL in the MWC and they got all of one sack last Friday on 60 dropbacks. He's just gonna sit there, laugh, and shred defenses.

Crap. As soon as beaver sees this article he is going to flip! Everyone proceed with caution...

HAHA agreed. I thought I was a very passionate fan until I saw how he is. I stood toe to toe with a Nebraska fan (my roommate) during the game, and my girlfriend got so scared she went to the bedroom, but even Beaver scares me.

Boise might have the best Dline in the MWC, but Wyoming leads the MWC in sacks. Both Eddie and Sonny will get pressure on Carr.

We heard the same thing from Rutgers fans before the season. They have 11 sacks on the year and their DL was basically camping in Arkansas' backyard. Against us? 1 sack on 73 dropbacks. Forgive my skepticism. ;)

It won't really matter because Fresno's defense is terrible also. You won't stop Brett from scoring almost every time Wyoming has the ball. It will probably be another high scoring game of whoever has the ball last wins.

Then there's turnovers. Even if Carr delivers the ball, receivers still fumble occasionally. Can happen to us as well, obviously, but I have a feeling that's something that could play a major role.

And Huff's play is also an x-factor.

Hehe! I love it!
The thing about the BCS is, if you win a BCS Bowl you are known as one of the best teams there is. Elite.
But getting there, you don't have to be the best. You just need to sneak your way in.
And for Wyo, we just need to keep winning. Easier said than done, but very possible this season.
Beat TSU, NM, and CSU and the Pokes are 6-1. Probably something like 25th in the country as well.
Beat SJSU on the road, make it to 7-1 for the home game against Fresno.
An 8-0 Fresno St. is probably a Top 15 team. A 7-1 Wyo team is probably around 21-25.
Wyo winning puts the Pokes ahead and probably a Top 20 team.
Keep on winning until the MWC title game, and the Pokes are sitting at 11-1, and maybe, top 14. Win that game, probably over a Top 25 Fresno (again), and we will be in a BCS Bowl at 12-1 with at least 2 wins over Top 25 teams, maybe more if Boise or USU get ranked.
It's such a stretch, I know, but this team can do it. Especially if Carr has to throw the ball in the cold and wind and snow December 7th at 8pm in Laramie, Wyoming.

But one game at a time. Beat Texas State, get healthy going into the bye week, get 25K for NM (homecoming) and 27K for CSU (Border War).

How awesome does a 13-1 season sounds? MWC and Fiesta Bowl (over Texas Tech) and finishing like 4th in the country?
Just in time to set Wyo up with a good pre season ranking heading into the first season of the playoffs, where Wyo plays Michigan State AND Oregon on the road....
Oh that National Championship over Bama next season is going to be awesome.

Looking ahead is a good way to jinx a football team. Knock that shit off. Same reason I wont play any NCAA football games during the season
