What I figured would happen. I wish they would have let him(or he would have wanted to) play both but thought once he went back to football he would stay there. Was looking forward to seeing what he could do on the court. Looking forward to seeing him on the field.

We never would have been able to sign him as a football prospect out of high school so that's pretty cool he ended up here.

I'm not a fan. I think he could have had a huge impact on the hardwood. With that said, I'm excited to see what he can do on the football field for us.

No. I was the Lieberman hater, not that I don't want him to succeedI just don't think he'll lead us to where we want to go. I hope we sign a juco point guard.

Disappointed that Conway chose football over basketball. He was definitely going to see more time on the hardwood this season then the gridiron in my opinion could be wrong though. One thing I am sure of though is liebs was going to be and is the starting pg for this team whether Conway stayed on the bball team or not and if we pick up a transfer or juco guard as well. With that being said I do respect Conway for making a tough decision and following his heart. Glad he is still a poke.

Um, isn't Justin James the next-best point guard on the roster? We were told he had a PG-capable skillset coming into the season and to my eyes he's easily the next-best ballhandler on the team. I'd bet heavily that he is the primary ballhandler any time Lieberman is on the bench.

I agree I was actually thinking this very same thing. I'm sure we will see JJ bring the ball up quite a bit this coming season.

This will make Wyoming very attractive to transfer guards with immediate eligibility. I hope they find a solid 5th year senior to provide some depth.
