Lots of speculation on here but that's okay if you ignored reading the previous posts.NebraskaCowboy said:You must've been dreaming with Pujol. No way in hell would we be able to pay him what he's getting paid at Alabama. Sure they're a football school, but they still have money to throw around to other sports. You think being in the NBA hurts?! Are you stupid?! Kids want to go to the NBA and having someone who knows what it's like will b helpful. If this is the hire, I think it's solid.Wyolie Coyote said:He has been in the NBA for years. I think we need a college recruiter which Pujol fits. Reading Pujol's bio he fits being a lead recruiter and is a great defensive coach. Seemed like a real nice complement for this staff.JimmyDimes said:Letdown? The guy has been an NBA assistant under George Karl for years. I think he would be a very good coach if he is the mysterious JW.Wyolie Coyote said:Really? That is a letdown if true. I thought Tony Pujol would be a great hire.Wicks said:
And guess what, Pujol is not at Alabama anymore, left in 2014. He is now an AAU coach in New Jersey. Guess we can probably pay him what he is getting from Alabama.
I don't think it is the Welch guy. Doesn't match up with what others are saying. He has no ties to Edwards and the staff.
