This the guy with 7 concussions?

Ya...he has (had) 7 concussions. :rofl:

Are you his doctor? If a kid has had any concussion issues, I have no problem with them making the personal decision to hang it up. Given recent research, concussions are not to be taken lightly.

And as a walk on......doesn't really owe fans a thing. Although it does give the impression a lot of the walk ons from WY have dropped out. But seriously, one would expect that based on all that goes into the sport that people do not realize.

In most situations, you would be spot on calling me out, if I posted something like this.

So you have knowledge this was made up as an out?..... :whistle:

My point in the whole thing, is that I am ultra-super embarrassed how the Wyoming Kid walk-on program went this fall.

Same. The worst part (or at least most comical) was that people used these kids as a dig against the former coaching staff for not "embracing wyoming" (looking at you, Holmgren and monkey boy) yet look where we are now...

Per capita, Wyoming produces fewer FBS recruits than just about any other state. Montana, the Dakotas, and Wyoming are a FBS recruiting wasteland.

What is the point of targeting wy high schoolers to walk on if they just quit? My as well pull our walk-ons from the Denver Metro area.

Because it gives us warm fuzzies.

So that the 75% of the fanbase that follows Wyo football, but doesn't have a clue how college athletics works or the extreme contrast between Wyo high school athletes and true D-1 athletes, can smile and say we recruit Wyo players when previous staffs refused to. Mainly PR with a little hope for the occasional diamond in the rough to turn up.

It's funny, because the opposite is true for the NFL. Wyoming is closer to the top in terms of producing NFL talent per capita.

I don't think I ever said that

Because clearly they were recruited knowing most of them would quit before the end of the season...

Here is the 2013-2014 list http://www.scout.com/nfl/story/1463448-nfl-roster-breakdown-per-capita?s=127" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I see Montana is up there but I also thought I remember seeing Wyoming up there at one point. Kiesel out has devastated our per capita lol.

Anyway, with so few NFL players, lowly populated states can skew the stats. Harder to do when there are lots of players like in FBS.

Well Bohl recruited them, shows he clearly knows what a quality D1 walk on looks like.
