Another loss to Air Force?

I didn't get to watch, but losing to a team that bad is unacceptable.

Were we ever in the game? How do you explain this type of end of year effort as progress? We seem worse than when the year started and worse than last year (to me at least).

There's bad basketball, and there's what happened in Vegas today. That was an ugly effort by an ugly team. Injuries or not this season is hard to stomach. Glad it's over...

Were we ever in the game?

No. We had one offensive rebound and were like 2-20 from 3 and missed a lot of free throws.

We got within 7 with about 5 minutes to go and then I don't think we scored again. I believe we ended the game with 1 offensive rebound for the entire game. We only scored 40 points in 40 minutes and 18 of those came from Desmar Jackson. Waddell got hit in the face by Thiam and didn't play the last 5 minutes or so, Luster didn't play at all. With Luster out, Jackson dribbled the ball down the court most of the time and had I think 6 of our 12 turnovers. Dermody jacked up about 5 three's in a row mid-second half making none of them, and without any offensive rebounds allowed air force to extend their lead to about 15 at that point.

I think that about sums up our terrible game. We looked horrible. We looked as if we had no set plays ever. Most of our team had no movement, and no effort on rebounds. Lets hope something drastic changes for next year or we may be in for more of the same.
