Mountains out of molehills... another DC defensive recruit who underwhelmed on the field...

Exactly the first thing I thought when I heard this. Who cares? Olive did NOTHING on the field this season - there were games where I wondered if his name was ever called. Give me a break with some of these posts warning that the sky is falling. An underwhelming DL, a walk on LB, and a kicker who couldn't kick! The headline of this post is exceptionally misleading and the initial post warning of coming doom is totally distorted as well. Nothing with any of these players leaving that concerns me. On the contrary, their attrition leaves us a better football team in my opinion.

Here's the Trib's story on it.

This is the reason a number of players (especially ones mentioned on this board) have "left the program." Articles, tweets, and press releases have stated a myriad of reasons, but the real reason is particular coaches have forced players out of the program against the players wishes. I would almost say this has become an epidemic.
this is the closest thing to what is happening I've seen on this board ...

People on this forum questioned whether or not I was telling the truth or simply trying to throw Bohl under the bus in my previous posts. After seeing that Mr. Tutein is sharing his story, I may need to share mine as well.
Eh, think about it long and hard if you do.

My story may spark more controversy than Will's. The feelings I have towards Bohl are well warranted I believe. Not sure if this will give my story any more value or added weight but I was a starter on the team, for those of you who think things are only happening to walk ons or players who can't contribute.

Read it, nothing really to see here. Wish Tutein all the best. Nothing happening here that doesn't happen with virtually every football program in the country to some extent.

Onward and upward.

Go Pokes.

Hey, not for nothing, but either shit or get off the pot my friend. Your previous feelings are well noted, so either spill whatever beans you may have or stop with the tease.

Its tough to see a player work his ass off and not make it. It is a part of life though. Hell, there are things in my life that I have worked my ass off for and failed at. Fail fast, fail hard, and move on. I don't think anything I could have done would have got me on the field to touch a division 1 football. He has that going for him. My only advice is to bow out with a bit of grace and move on. Fail fast...

Sorry, just trying to figure out whether I should post here first or go straight to the press. You'll get the story

With all due respect, I'm not sure your story will make a difference.

You feel Bohl and the coaching staff didn't treat you right. Okay, so how is this unique in the overall college football environment in comparison to other situations which are probably a lot like yours?

You think every Boise State Broncos player likes or feels Bryan Harsin is a great guy? Does every player on Alabama's roster agree with Nick Saban's methods?

Look it, unless your grievance has something to do with clear unethical practices or illegal activities surrounding the program, then I'm not sure your 'story' will make any kind of a difference.

If your feeling is that you simply weren't appreciated or treated with the level of respect you thought you deserved...then this is a story told thousands of times over many years within the CFB world...and that story is really a non-story.

Any truth good or bad would be appreciated, and it will make a huge difference of what has been happening behind the scenes.

Did he graduate?
This is an important question. Maybe he's failing out of school and hence quitting.
If he redshirted, he may have been at UW for 9 semesters plus summer school. Lots of people would graduate in that amount of time.

And you're testing the waters of whether to spill the beans on your experiences from the brain trust on this board?

I'm questioning your judgement already. Talk to someone you trust and sleep on it. Not to the nutsacks on this board.

I could interpret the story a few ways. Some Bohl might be doing a good deed and in others he is a villain. That tells me I need to keep my mouth shut because I obviously don't have enough info.

I will say, however, that those saying coaches have a right to push people out better never complain about a player leaving for what they perceive as a better situation. If coaches don't need loyalty then neither do players.

Being the rumor mill guy, supposedly Uso got caught plagiarizing for the third time and got kicked out of school. Don't take that as gospel but that's what I've heard

That makes more sense than anything. If this is the reason for his departure then I gained back some respect. Cheating is less despicable than quitting on your teammates. If today was his "last breath" of Wyoming air it makes sense he is getting kicked out for academic reasons because this is finals week. Even if he were leaving for 'personal reasons' he'd still finish out the semester.

This would make me laugh so hard. He used to try to sell other athletes fake shoes on campus.

I think many of the people on this board will find it to be unethical.
