Uh...it's their team, they can push people out of the program if they want, it happens at every school in the country, you act like this is some catastrophic phenomenon that happens only here. Is it a good thing? No. Is it unusual? Hell no.

It is typically not good when one of those people turns out to be the #1 JUCO recruit in the nation after leaving.
Before we go bat shit crazy about the coaches kicking players off the team....do we know for a fact that this happened? It seems like Kongbo wanted to leave. And, if we was pushed out, what were the reasons?

Yeah, I highly doubt we kicked Kin Kong out of the program. I bet the coaches saw his talent.

Not good, I agree. But totally within their prerogative as the coaches of this program. Shady? Yes, but we also don't know the whole story. Kid gets kicked off team and is bitter and doesn't tell the whole story...that would never happen right?

I definitely agree about waiting to hear the entire story so I'm not jumping to any conclusions yet.

However, I will say, that when you deconstruct a program to one of the worst in FBS then, well, you know, your decisions and methods are going to be questioned especially when they are along these lines.
Obviously not the worst....we did beat a bowl team and UNLV despite the attrition, the injuries (losing Gentry was huge), having only a handful of seniors, playing a lot of freshman, etc. Sometimes you need to get rid of the bad apples....not saying this is the case, but bad apples can cause issues in the locker room, etc.

Aside from a couple guys in Bohl's first class that was put together in under two months...most of the attrition are DC's players still. That could change if the wr rumors turn out to be true, but so far the attrition is heavy on the DC recruit side of things.

People on this forum questioned whether or not I was telling the truth or simply trying to throw Bohl under the bus in my previous posts. After seeing that Mr. Tutein is sharing his story, I may need to share mine as well.

Eh, think about it long and hard if you do.

Honestly, seeing how Tutein is handling this on Twitter may shine some light on why he evidently wasn't invited back. If he's productive, if he's a good teammate, or if he adds something to the program, he would not be asked to leave. This Twitter rants screams that he's the kind of guy that's quick to blame someone/something else for his own problems.

I'll hear him out, but "being crooks?" Sorry, but if I'm a D1 head coach, I may think twice about handing a scholarship to a walk-on player that got 8 tackles last season.

Do it.

Doesn't need to be a Bohl-bashing, but the truth and your story are always welcome.

Exactly. Facts are more productive and useful than name calling.

Just skimmed through Gag's chat replay. He basically says that Tutein wasn't put on scholarship and was not even asked to come back in a walk on role. Says he worked 4 hours in the morning, went to school, then to football and he was getting tired which affected his play. He's going to stay on campus and finish his degree and play club baseball.

My thoughts too.... You want the top treatment, be the top performer. The only players on this team who shouldn't be worried about their place on the team are Hill and Wingard.

From what I have seen from the outside, if you make waves or don't fit the mold Bohl has set, you're gone. Again.Welcome to the real world. Its doesn't make a coach a crook to not extend a scholly to someone who doesn't fit. Big picture, Bohl (as well as every damn coach in the country) is viewed on how their success on the field. If Bohl does not believe a player will bring the team forward and one step closer to success, he has EVERY right to move on. Just like this board has preached that a player has every right to leave the school and pursue other ventures to further their lives, coaches do too. Every player on this team has the potential to impact Craig Bohl's future one way of the other. You best damn well bet he is going to trim the fat.

I'm pretty sure doodles left or is leaving by the looks of him in the stands. Someone can't trust someone obviously.

Oh I see just fine. I see a lot of whiners who don't get their way and go on twitter blaming everyone else for their issues. Every damn player on this team gets up, practices, goes to class, then goes back to practice just like Mr. Tutein. He's no different than anyone else. Sorry you werent asked back. Maybe he shouldn't spent more time in the weight room and less time on the twitter box talking shit about not getting a scholly and things may have been different....

We all figured Doddles was gone back in Oct. Sucks because he could have been a good one, but his head wasn't right obviously.

I dont deny that. But Tutein wasnt changing that. He was a decent player who has turned out to be a whiner. If he's like this in public, I can only imagine he was worse behind closed doors.
