Air Force Line

Wyoming better score on their opportunities against AF. If both teams can drive he ball, we might only get one possession per quarter.

I don't see AFA having much success running on our D. They didn't last year and we are much stouter against the run this year....so it appears. I think Wyoming will have success running however. I watched some highlights of their game and early on Nichols State was running 10 yards a pop. Colby needs to work of making a few passes

As long as he doesn't stare down his receivers again, he doesn't need to do too much, I don't think. The AF coaches will definitely point that particular bad habit out during their film sessions, and while their linebacking corps might not be filled with superstars, they're definitely good enough to pick off bad passes.

Falcons now a 2-point favorite. Surprised to see that...I don't think this game will be all that close.

How does it swing from us being a 1 point favorite to AF now favored by 2? Did we have more injuries than we thought? or is it all predicated on Vegas increasing betting lines?

Betting lines would be my guess. 2 guys got a little banged up, but nothing serious and a few days of rest won't fix.

lol @ those QB Ratings!

More money on AFA - so the spread goes the other way, to try and hedge it a bit (to get more money on Wyoming). It is all about the vig. A lot of people betting off what each team did to their FCS opponent last week. Obviously AFA looks better on paper, hence the early action.

Agreed...I'd surprised to see AFA to score more than 17. I'm leaning more towards them being held to single-digit points.

The total is 57. Betting the under looks like a really good bet because I don't see a whole lot of offense in this game.

I like the under as well, albeit more as a result of the fact that I anticipate very few possessions. I could see something like 24-20 with only a couple of punts by each team.

1) I'm going with low scoring affair
2) No team gets more than 3 TD's
3) AF will rely a lot on their passing attack
4) But occasionally, the AF runners will bust a big one.

I'm taking Air Force ML. I'll gladly pay my two units for a Wyoming win.

Are you handicapping CSU-Boise?

Well, I was at the csewe-cu game (went to grad school at CU). Anyway, I was pretty impressed with the csewe running game and their new offensive line. It might be a little hard to know because I suspect CU is still pretty down talent wise. I'm tempted to take the 12 1/2 points with the rams. Boise st. is going to have to prove it to me now that Petersen is gone. Boise's qb looks suspect. Yeah, I like the sheep. God forgive me for saying that.

NO FORGIVENESS BLASPHEMER!

Ehh...we'll see. That same BSU QB you claim is "suspect" had 350+ total yards and 6 TDs @CSU last season in only his second start. Ole Miss has a national championship caliber defense....just a slight difference in caliber between them and the Fluffaloes.

Swap opponents....and the narrative changes quite a bit.

That's probably right. I keep forgetting CU has been one of the worst teams in the country over the last 3 years. But still, that running back from Alabama looks quick. Perhaps the weed factor is going to help recruiting in Colorado.

Both Jarrells/Hart are very good...just saying that some people are hyping up the Rams too much. Some have called them the MW favorite now...all cause they beat CU? Sorry, but beating the Buffs holds more water than beating Montana ONLY cause of that Pac-12 logo. Otherwise? A wash.

The sad thing is, this actually is a factor in some recruits decision making. It's still against NCAA rules and if you get caught you are out for half your season, but some kids do look at the legality of pot in CO and take that into consideration when choosing a school.

If my kid were a pot head that was good at football, I'd advise him to move to Colorado to play football. Parents have little control over what their kids do when they are young and dumb; it would be better for future career opportunities to end up simply suspended from the football team than end up arrested and charged with a crime.
